This is a very good hotel with a beautiful river view from the room, and also the bridge and small waterfall (do not confuse with large main waterfall). It was walking distance from everything. The hotel arranged for mandatory entrance tickets and pick up from station, which was so beneficial. Everything was great. 2 areas where hotel can improve: 1. Breakfast was quite ordinary. They can have a bit better dishes out there like omlette or croissants. 2. At the time of booking, I was given the wrong impression that there is the large waterfall view from the room. That was not true. Hotel should not use large waterfall picture in their page. They should use actual image from their window.

I am 69 years old and have been living overseas for over forty years. Despite the language barrier, I truly appreciate （洋蜻）your patience and thoughtfulness in providing us with important travel information for seniors, as well as your valuable and heartwarming advice—all without causing us any inconvenience. Although we stayed for only one night, your 洋蜻careful guidance saved us a great deal of time and effort on our trip to Tianmen Mountain and the National Forest Park, helping us avoid unnecessary detours. Your thoughtfulness means a great deal to us. Thank you sincerely for your help, which made our journey smoother and more wonderful.

The Hansu Exotic Inn was amazing! From the extremely helpful staff, amenities, and cool rooms! The hotel owner went ABOVE & BEYOND creating a schedule for us to tour the 2 Nationals parks in the area! He sat down with us for hours and made sure we had a full itinerary each day that included all the sights we wanted to see, rest/food, and even suggested additional activities. Even on our off day the staff took the time to sit and talk with us. This trip would not be possible or as amazing without the staff at the Hansu Exotic Inn. They are amazing and I would suggest this hotel to anyone coming to the area!

I've been to many ancient towns, but Furong Town is the only one that truly lives and breathes with the sound of water and the glow of lights. The waterfall cascades right past the eaves, and the bluestone slabs are smoothed by time. The lights at night aren't a forced spectacle, but rather a gentle embrace that envelops the entire town. There's no frivolous over-commercialization, just the poetic harmony of nature and local life. It's breathtaking at first sight and unforgettable for a lifetime – this is truly an irreplaceable secret gem of western Hunan.

I want to take a moment here to describe one of my best moments with the staff from this establishment. Not only this place is located neitherly next to the fall for the best view; but they were always there to provide mewith the best care I also never experienced before from giving me a private tour around from themselves willingness, give me free liquor or drinks even if I didn’t want to some time.🤗. I got dressed up from his brothers shop; for me was an honour to be like having their cultural outfit for the day, show me the best restaurants around to taste the rich flavours of the region. And off course the incredible view at night from my balcony is unbelievable. This pale can receive sigle, couple and families. The room are rusting and very warm. It’s for me a 5 stars of the personality of the place and base on luxury. You won’t regret it! 👍🏼💝🙏

I had a wonderful stay and genuinely enjoyed every moment. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully arranged. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. The room was clean, well-maintained, and designed with attention to detail. I especially appreciated how comfortable the bed was—it made a huge difference after long days. The overall environment felt both cozy and refined at the same time. What stood out most was the level of care and consistency throughout my stay. Everything ran smoothly, and it was clear that a lot of effort goes into creating a pleasant experience for guests. I would absolutely choose to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

Location is close by to local eats and only a quick 10min drive to the east gate. The front desk staff are available to help book tickets for all the nearby attractions and offer a small discount for those tickets as well. Highly recommend going to the romance show in the evening. We bought our tickets same day from the hotel staff and they got us front of the section tickets which was really helpful considering the venue was completely full by the showing time. Drive from Zhangjiajie was about half an hour, so just keep that in mind of you wanted this as a home base. Also knocked one point off cleanliness only because it was raining on the day we arrived and the windows in the room were open from prior, there were at least a dozen fat flies zooming around the room which we needed to dispatch of ourselves. Would definitely come here again if I wanted to book a longer stay in Wulingyuan

On arrival at Fenghuang, hotel send car for free transfer to hotel. Instructions are to go to the right of about 80m from exit to car parking. I sent a photo to hotel owner prior. The driver recognised us and took us to the hotel. Room is clean and bed was comfortable for the price we paid for 1 night. Hotel is very close to the scenic sights. Owner very helpful and gave us tea when we came back to the hotel after sightseeing. There were bowls of mandarins to eat as well. Arranged for pick up the next morning to return to train station at a cost of 20yuan. Can get cheaper via DiDi. We needed a bigger car for all our luggages so more convenient for this arrangement. Yes, if u r not too fuss and not expecting a 5 stars arrangement, this can be a good place to stay for a night. Get the owner to arrange for entry tickets to the town.

Everything’s great from the hotel location, window view to staff members and hospitality. The only thing we had issue with is that the toiled would get clogged up no matter what. Thank you for the hotel staff for helping us order food, find the shows’ timetable. Also the hotel provides a free pick up from the railway station and some discount for the entry tickets.

This inn is right by the East Gate ticket office, which is super convenient if you have luggage, as there are no stairs to navigate. It's highly recommended for families with seniors, children, or anyone with bags. The room environment is excellent, with a balcony where you can sit and enjoy views of the bridge and scenery. It's incredibly easy to see the waterfall and the night view, just a few minutes' walk away. I also have to mention the owner's exceptional service; we contacted them in advance, and they picked us up from the station when we arrived. On our departure day, they arranged a car to take us to the station a day beforehand. It made getting around incredibly easy and comfortable! 👍
