"The room and bed were a bit small. However, the room overall was good, with a balcony and a nice view. The staff were very friendly and communicated with me before my arrival. There's a laundry room, and when cars aren't allowed into the ancient city after 2 PM, the hotel uses their small car to help with luggage. Since we were leaving late, we requested a late check-out, and the guesthouse staff readily agreed. It's worth trying."

"My partner and I felt so at home here! The family hosts were so accommodating, generous with their time, snacks and knowledge of the village - they made our stay in Xijiang much more memorable. The location of this guesthouse is a 5minute walk away from the main streets - very easy to access, as well a perfect distance to get a break from the bustle."

"This guesthouse is stunning and amazing at the same time. I work in the tourism field and I have never seen such an amazing and accurated caring for guests. The host and his wife are the nicest persons ever met in my life. Knowledgable in everything, excellent professional hosts who know how to make your trip an amazing and successful trip. Rooms are clean, spacious, with all the amenities a guest needs with a really good sense for the design. At the ground floor they have such a nice space for all guests where people can relax themselves by reading, drinking a good cup of local tea or coffe and simply facing the mesmerising view of the Dong Village and experiencing an indoor campfire. We had a wonderful night around the fire with some new Chinese friends and the host too. We sang all together and there was no language barrier which could stop us. We had such a wonderful moment. One of the best in my life. Breakfast is speechless. Something extremely good with lots of varieties of food. They know how to accomodate every single request. This place is a AAAAA place. Thanks for all the beautiful memories you gave us."

"Upon arriving at the guesthouse, we discovered the pipes were undergoing maintenance, and we hadn't been informed in advance. There were an excessive number of mosquitoes, something everyone should really watch out for. It felt like the room hadn't hosted guests in a while, as there was some dust. What was quite frustrating was the extremely weak water pressure; showering was practically impossible, so we just made do. The facilities seriously need an upgrade. The location is excellent, right within the scenic area, and you can take the Wanfenglin sightseeing bus to various viewpoints. The hostess was very kind, and the breakfast was delicious, but the guesthouse's facilities really don't live up to the excellent service provided by the hostess."

"I pleasantly enjoyed my stay. The room was decorated well and a wide range of amenities were provided. The room was very clean and finished well to the final touch. Furthermore, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The most important, the room had a great view of the main bridge and is very near to other attractions like the museum. Overall, I properly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely book this hotel again if I ever come back to Zhenyuan Ancient City. It is very worth it and exceeded my expectations."

"The wooden decor in the room is absolutely beautiful, and the swing is such a cozy touch. The mattress is incredibly soft, even softer than the ones at Huazhu Hotels in Guiyang, so I slept wonderfully. The noodles made by the auntie for breakfast were also delicious! The owner must be someone who loves cats and runs the place with great care. You can see the thoughtfulness everywhere in the guesthouse, which is a refreshing change from the commercialized main street. I hope they keep up the good work! The staff (young men) were also incredibly friendly – thumbs up! I even stumbled upon a traveler's diary in the room, which showed such great attention to detail and was truly touching. The only downside is that the bathroom could use an upgrade; it feels quite old. When I checked in, there was water on the floor, and even after they helped clean it, there was still water on the ground hours later when I returned to the room, as if it never fully dried. Aside from the bathroom, the room itself has a fantastic vibe. I absolutely loved the swing, the viewing platform, the small bar, and the excellent service. You could easily spend an entire day just relaxing at the guesthouse. However, it is located quite high up, so it might be a bit challenging for elderly guests or those with young children to climb."

"I specifically chose to travel in May, avoiding public holidays, and the experience was exceptionally pleasant. The hotel's location is superb, right next to the observation deck, and the scenic shuttle bus stop is very close by. I didn't have to drag my luggage for a long distance, which was a relief since I initially read guides saying it would be exhausting carrying bags. Here, you don't have to worry about that at all. The owner was incredibly welcoming and even came to pick me up personally. They also provided tips on how to explore the area. The room offered a spectacular view; opening the window revealed the entire Miao village. The room was clean and tidy. Being on the mountaintop, it was also quiet, allowing me to sleep in until I naturally woke up. During the day, the shuttle bus was nearby, making it easy to head down the mountain for sightseeing and photos. As night fell, I enjoyed a local specialty drink, accompanied by the beautiful nightscape of the Miao village. Such leisurely and comfortable moments were truly enchanting."

"Five stars, highly recommended! Choosing YunTing Luxury when visiting Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village was an absolute win! The location is superb, right next to the observation deck, just a few minutes' walk. Their private observation deck offers even better views than the public one; opening the window reveals a panoramic view of the Miao village, and the evening lights are breathtaking. The rooms are designed in the traditional Miao stilt-house style, with wooden floors and ethnic-inspired soft furnishings. They are clean and have a quality feel. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the soundproofing is excellent, making for a super quiet evening. Each room has a panoramic balcony, allowing you to enjoy the morning mist, sea of clouds, and sunset without even leaving your room – every photo you take will be stunning 📸. And the service is incredibly thoughtful! The butler contacted me in advance to arrange pick-up and proactively helped with my luggage, being warm and attentive throughout my stay. The minced pork noodles for breakfast were authentic and delicious, showing great attention to detail. Whether it's for enjoying the night view, taking beautiful photos, or experiencing Miao culture, this place is flawless. It offers incredible value for money and is a must-stay when visiting Xijiang! I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose it again next time!"

"The room was spacious and clean, with a window offering a view outside and a place to dry clothes. The owners were very kind; the landlady helped us with our luggage and gave us detailed directions on good restaurants, directions to the village, and show times. The room was large and clean, and they provided many amenities not found in other hotels, such as mosquito repellent and disposable face towels. There was also free fruit downstairs, including plums, which was quite delicious. The owners even let us try their wines—a variety to sample. The owners were incredibly kind, providing transportation to and from the hotel and even taking us to the high-speed rail station. Their prices were very reasonable; after comparing several hotels, this was the best. You can also have a barbecue at the owners' place; they cooked some dishes and we ate and drank together. The landlady's grilled chicken wings were delicious and fragrant, even better than barbecue in Shenzhen. The bed was very comfortable and soft. I highly recommend this mountain view room; it's excellent."

"The B&B is very close to Bridge No. 1 and not far from where Baidu cars can drop you off, so the location is excellent. They can also help with your luggage. The room has a fantastic view, overlooking the entire Miao village, and the lights at night are especially beautiful. We were lucky to have clear weather, so the daytime view was also superb. It's very convenient to get to the cable car from the Xiaobeimen (Small North Gate). The room itself was very clean and warm, with air conditioning and an electric blanket. It was a really great experience, and the owner even has cute cats!"
