Tranquil Nest

Unbeatable price/performance ratio, with large bathtub, barbecue area, warm. Bringing children, alone, couples, very nice landscape, wide view, happy mood.
Dreamfields Guesthouse
4.6/54 Reviews
It was a small little guest house run by Isabelle. She was hands-on in each and every aspect of the property from upkeep of the property to morning breakfast. The breakfast was not very fancy but was nicely laid out. Isabelle had arranged our safari which was very nice and gave us all the tips to plan our panorama route. The property was not so far from all the malls and eating joints. We had a fantastic time.
Sabi River Sun Resort
4.1/540 Reviews
We visited Sabi River Sun in December 2020, having visited this resort last in 2008! We should never have stayed away for so long, considering this resort is still as lovely as it was back then! On both occasions we stayed in the hotel, as opposed to the self-catering chalets. Check-in was a pleasant, efficient process, with us having made full payment during the booking process online. This naturally sped up the check-in. There are a few Covid-19 related checks that take place, which is now normal for all hospitality establishments. Our room overlooked the kiddies playarea, with a view of the pool area too. The room (#220) was comfortable, but it does appear dated, in need of a slight refurb. We spent more time than we would normally in the room due to the rainy weather during our stay. Breakfast and dinner was equally excellent. We engaged with the chefs on duty at both sessions daily due to our Halaal requirements, which the chefs were aware of, and met! We were most impressed by this!!! Just a note - on our check-out, when settling the dinners for our daughter (dinners are included for adults), we noticed that someone else's receipt was also included in our bill. Upon querying this, we were presented with the receipts and highlighted the 1 that was not ours. I guess this can happen when the writing (room number, etc) is illegible. Not a trainsmash though! During the stay, we met with Malcolm (GM) and his team. This was excellent as we managed to engage on our visit experience, etc. All in all, a wonderful stay! We most certainly intend returning, hopefully, it does not take another 12 years :-)
Umbhaba Eco Lodge
4.2/535 Reviews
The Lodge was arranged as part of a National Geographic tour. Our tour group stayed two nights as we spent time in Kruger National Park. This lodge was very nice, clean, well staffed, and convenient to access the Park. The restaurant and food were both excellent. One evening we had dinner at the outdoor event area under the stars which was a nice change. Rooms were spacious, with a deck overlooking a pond. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return.
Rissington Inn

Such a tranquil spot to relax after a busy day of exploring or after a safari in Kruger. Our room was very comfortable with lovely personalized touches. We both enjoyed the freshly baked cookies in the room. The view was so pretty and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Breakfasts and dinners were equally delicious. All the staff were helpful and oh so friendly. We were slightly disappointed that we didn't have time to swim in the enticing pool. As an added bonus, the sunsets were spectacular!
Kruger Park Lodge Unit No. 524
4.7/52 Reviews
Recommended villa hotel for fun in Kruger, especially for families. The house booked this time has three bedrooms, and it is not a problem to actually live for six people. The park where it is located is a golf course, and the scenery is good. If you can, I recommend staying here for a few more days.
