The Den 23 is a perfect place to stay. The owner is very helpful and goes into detail when explaining and recommending places to visit. He also provides you with a leftlet that has some basic sinhala words. The roof top bar has an amazing view of the city. The staff is helpful and I'll recommend this place if you want to go around Colombo with little effort.

My hotel stay was wonderful. Checking in was smooth, and the staff was friendly and attentive during my visit. I used the gym daily; it had modern equipment. The pool was terrific, with great views of the water. My room was spacious and offered a lovely view of the water. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping and dining spots. The Western breakfast was great. I could eat it every day. The room was clean, but there was a problem with the door lock design. After entering the room, I had to use a mobile phone to light and light to lock the door! Very inconvenient!
