I had read the reviews -- so many reviews raving about Stonecroft Inn -- and wondered if they were all genuine. I decided to take a chance on staying at Stonecroft Inn for 4 nights and I was so glad I did! We had minimal interaction with people working at the inn, but the encounters we did have were all pleasant and helpful. Our room was large and updated. It included a very comfortable king-size bed, a small sofa and a coffee table; a desk with comfortable chair; a cabinet that consisted of 3 drawers and an enclosure for a small fridge; and a moveable ottoman. The tv was large enough to be viewed from the bed or from the sofa. There were plenty of lamps and outlets. The room-darkening curtains were very effective. The bath area was divided into a sink area with a large mirror and then a tub/shower and toilet. This area, too, was updated and included all that we needed including plenty of towels and a hair dryer. And even though our room fronted on a busy street, we never really heard traffic noise. Based on the large number of vehicles in the parking lot, it appeared that the inn, understandably, enjoyed a great deal of repeat business. Breakfast was included but we did not partake. The lobby and our room were all very clean. I would definitely stay at the Stonecroft Inn again.

Breakfast is richer in surrounding hotels, at least hot food. The internal facilities of the room are also good, but the attitude is relatively cold. There are many parking lots and large parking spaces, which is convenient for self-driving. It is very close to the highway, about 10 minutes by car from the airport. Upon arriving to check in we were told our room wasn’t ready as the previous guest checked out and stole the tv. Yes, stole the hotel tv. That made us second guess our stay but we thought the hotel can’t tell wether a guest is a good or bad guest. We decided to go have dinner and then come back, giving them time to install the new tv. The room was a “jacuzzi room” , but it for sure had seen better days. It did not smell so that was a bonus. *first the wooden coat rack with steel hooks was so broken that the second I put my coat on it it tilted 90 degrees almost slamming into my face. My hubby took a video of it to show the front desk. *the jacuzzi tub had hair in it, we informed front desk and they came and picked hair out, I myself sprayed down the tub with sanitizer and wiped it after that as it must not of been cleaned from previous tenant * the lights flickered on and off when turned on * you were left on your own how to figure out the heat. * the tv the my just put in there went back and forth between snowy screen and regular tv, upon Investigation the cable in the back had no proper end and was just a loose wire set into the cable hole * the bedding had a hole and some stains and very uncomfortable. The staff was the saving the grace they were pleasant and nice. Will not be staying there again, one too many issues and for 119.99 for the night not worth it all.

I stayed here for 5 nights while volunteering with a LIfesaving event. The hotel is very well maintained. Our room was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. We did find the door to the bathroom to be in a weird spot that blocked access to the door and coffee bar area when open. Our room overlooked the street, which was loud, but they provided earplugs and had a short note letting us know that they knew about the noise and were trying their best to solve the problem. I was very happy with the customer service. Check-in was very easy. Our maid was so helpful and lovely. Restaurant staff, both morning and evening, were great as well.

Stayed for two nights over March Break and was very impressed with the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful for both a phone call and enquiries during our stay. We loved our two bedroom suite with the amazing view of the Detroit River where you can see the riverside war memorials, ships and boats passing by, and Detroit across the water. Our suite was modern, spacious, and immaculate. Nice little kitchen for preparing snacks and reheating leftovers from our restaurant meals. We didn't request cleaning during our stay but we did contact them because we thought no pillows or blankets had been provided for the sofa bed, but found them later in a drawer. Pool is bigger than it looks with warm water, but mind that sticky door to get in. No breakfast is provided but there's a small market with Starbucks coffee, and Tim Hortons is less than a ten minute walk behind the the Aquatic Centre/Adventure Bay. We took the advice of previous reviews and checked in with the hotel first to get the parking pass and room keys you need to access the parking garage in the connected building. We didn't keep any belongings in the car and had no problems with the in and out privileges. A great stay!

The view is amazing! Located by the Detroit River, surrounded by downtown Windsor and Detroit, the bustling city lights surround the hotel, and the service is also very good. However, there was no buffet during the epidemic, and breakfast was not delicious. Sandwiches in paper bags.

The hotel is tastefully decorated and modern. A concierge service and 24 hour housekeeping is very nice. Beds and bedding is comfortable, and most rooms have separate stand up showers and tubs. If your lucky you may find yourself with a jetted tub. Do find that although the spacious rooms include giant TVs and minifridges, they are lacking microwaves. Being the tallest building(s) in Windsor, some of the views are great, views pointing out each direction (N E S W) depending on which side of which tower you are on. Smoking floors are offered on request. Large indoor pool with large whirlpool, changing rooms with lockers and toiletries. Men's and women's saunas available. Pool hours are cut a bit short, 6am to 10pm only.

The suites are just like little apartments (full-size fridge, little stove top, microwave, dishwasher all in unit), laundry available on the first floor and they sell laundry soap at the front desk. Units very clean and comfortable. Staff very attentive and professional. Only one negative comment: the breakfast is basic stuff on the cheap. Nothing really tasty, but better than nothing.

This location was really good for us. It is right on the river and we had a great view. The parking was very good. Breakfast was terrible but that was not why I was there. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The room was modern and clean. The hotel was full with collage kids and I didn't know until morning. Nice and quite.

Such a lovely, welcoming host and home. The breakfast was SO.good and SO big! Way more than we expected.or.could eat! It's not often you get 3 courses with breakfast! The bed in room 3 was saggy in the middle and could probably be replaced any time now. The room.and our ensure bathroom were both spotless. We would definitely stay again. If you have mobility issues, be aware that all the rooms are upstairs. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.
