Visiting temples doesn't have to be monotonous.

💆‍♀️ A Non-Traditional Thai Massage

#wecreate 📍 Naree Thai Massage & Spa by Chiang Mai Women Correctional Centre 100 Rajchavithi Road Sriphum subdistrict, Chiang Mai 50200 Thailand. ✨ The Chiang Mai Women's Correctional Institution offers massage courses for inmates to have an easier transition back in society. It is part of it's rehabilitation and vocational program for convicts. When you step foot into the massage parlour, everyone is smiling, from the prison guards to masseurs. There isn't a single creepy vibe to this place, other than the surveillance cameras in the parlour. They even serve a hot cup of Thai red tea after the treatment and I think that this place is an excellent idea to reintegrate people back in society! 💲Price was around 200 THB for a 1 hour massage. Do come early because slots are first come first served! #massage #chiangmai #thailand

Wat Jed Yod (Wat Photharam Mahawihan)

#asiatrip Address: Chang Phueak Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand 🇹🇭 Wat Jed Yod is a third-class royal temple, common type. It was formerly called Wat Photharammahawihan. It is an important ancient temple in Chiang Mai Province. It was built by King Tilokarat, the King of the Mangrai Dynasty of Lanna, in 1998 and invited Phra Uttamapanya Mahathera to be the first abbot along with planting the Bodhi tree, he named the temple Photharam Mahawihan. however, because the temple has seven Chedis, people generally call it. A peaceful choice in Chiang Mai|A great place to relax

A peaceful choice in Chiang Mai|A great place to relax

🏨🌴Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa Chiang Mai 📍36 Rat Uthit Road Tambon Wat Ket, Amphur Muang, Chiang Mai, Thailand ▪️The resort is located in a quiet area in the suburbs of Chiang Mai. Although it is a little far from the city center, it is worth it for the peaceful environment. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus for easy travel. It is only a few minutes' drive to Tha Phae Gate and the night market, which is convenient and fast. Although the location is relatively remote, it allows you to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy complete relaxation. ▪️The hotel is decorated with traditional Thai elements, giving you a sense of immersion in the local culture. The front desk staff are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. They even offer welcome tea while you wait to check in. The hotel has a wide range of facilities, including a unique swimming pool, buffet breakfast, gym, and spa. It is worth mentioning that the gym requires staff to turn on the air conditioning, but the overall facilities and services are very satisfactory. 🛌✨The room experience is really great. Our room was super spacious, with a huge double bed that you could lie on and stretch out. The bedding was very comfortable, the room was clean and tidy, and the housekeeping was excellent. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and a large bathtub, which always made you feel like a bath was the best way to end the day. The room was well-equipped, and the hotel even prepared a honeymoon cake for us during our honeymoon, which was thoughtful and considerate. 🏖️There are plenty of activities around the resort, such as participating in various travel programs arranged by the hotel. We once visited temples and local villages with a private guide near the mountains, which was very interesting. Of course, you can also enjoy spa and massage services at the hotel, which is a great way to relax. The hotel's buffet breakfast is very rich, with Thai and American options. We especially recommend the omelet here, which is simply irresistible. 🚗🍽️There are also many fun places and restaurants nearby, although you may need to spend some time walking or taking a tuk-tuk. You can try the authentic food at the nearby Khao-so-i restaurant, or enjoy a delicious Thai meal at the Pho Thit Thai restaurant. For dinner, you can go to The Service 1921 Restaurant & Bar for a fine dinner. If you want to have a drink, Tiger Bar is a good choice. In short, Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa Chiang Mai is definitely a great place for both family and couple vacations. It is quiet, comfortable, and offers high-quality service. We highly recommend it! 👍🌟

In addition to the wide selection of tea menus This branch also has a menu Egg Benedict (355.-) where the sauce is mixed with Thai tea. Makes it smell unique. Eat with Morning Rise (90.-) is a black tea mixed with honey and lemon, delicious 😍 ⁣ ⁣ For those who like milk tea, we recommend the Traditional Karun Thai Tea (85.-), a rich, fragrant, slightly sweet tea, and the Blended Karun Thai Tea (95.-), a blended milk tea topped with ice cream on top. Northern Thailand Journey | The Largest Historical and Cultural Center

Northern Thailand Journey | The Largest Historical and Cultural Center

👍Highly recommended in the North: Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Sukhothai, etc. First, Chiang Mai: As the second largest city in Thailand, it is also the largest historical and cultural center in northern Thailand. It was the capital of the Lanna Kingdom from 1296 to 1768, so there are many historical and cultural relics in the old city of Chiang Mai. For example, the once tallest building in Chiang Mai, Wat Chedi Luang, and the first Buddhist temple, Wat Chiang Man, are worth visiting. In addition to visiting ancient temples, Chiang Mai's Nimman Road and night markets are also characteristic, very suitable for food hunting and strolling. Second, Chiang Rai: It is the northernmost province of Thailand, located at the border of Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand, with a very unique Long Neck tribe culture. Due to its location in the mountainous area at the border of the three countries, it not only embraces Thai culture but also absorbs and integrates many foreign cultures. Therefore, the artistic style of Chiang Rai is full of a variety of different colors, such as the White Temple, which symbolizes purity, designed by modern artist Chalermchai Kositpipat and dedicated to the beloved King and Queen of Thailand. In addition, Chiang Rai also has: the Blue Temple Wat Rong Suea Ten and the Black House Baandam Museum, both of which are must-visit places in Chiang Rai. ⏳Recommended Route: The attractions in Chiang Rai from north to south are: Long Neck Village➡️ (15min drive) ➡️ Black House ➡️ (15min drive) ➡️ Blue Temple ➡️ (20min drive) ➡️ Singha Park ➡️ (10min drive) ➡️ White Temple. Third, Mae Hong Son Province: Located in the extreme northwest of Thailand, nearly half of its border is adjacent to Myanmar, so the Buddhist architectural style of Mae Hong Son is different from other parts of Thailand, integrating more of the unique styles of Northern Thailand and Myanmar, such as the Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu and the Phu Chi Fa mountain where one can admire the magnificent sea of clouds. In addition, the well-known Pai district can be called the 'tourism star' of Mae Hong Son Province. Many travelers will visit Pai, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai together. Fourth, Sukhothai: The Thai name means 'Dawn of Happiness,' historically the capital of the Sukhothai Kingdom. It was the first capital of a prosperous era in Thai history and has long been regarded as the cradle of Thailand's unique culture and characteristics. Therefore, when visiting Sukhothai, do not miss the historical ruins of the old city. 📝Note tips: In addition, Sukhothai also has two national parks, Ramkhamhaeng National Park and Si Satchanalai National Park, where you can also experience the beautiful natural scenery of Sukhothai and see the presence of wildlife, making it a great choice for outdoor experiences.
