Introduction Beachcombing in Lianjiang

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Beachcombing is a marine cultural custom passed down from generation to generation by the people of Lianjiang. It is also one of the ideal ways for tourists to get close to nature and explore the ocean. Whenever the tide recedes and the vast mudflats are exposed, it is a good time to beachcombing. In the beachcombing areas of Lianjiang, tourists can find all kinds of "treasures" hidden on the mudflats. Colorful shells, lively crabs, plump and tender mud snails, etc. These marine creatures will appear one by one, allowing people to feel the magic and richness of nature.

Fuzhou's "Rio de Janeiro"

Fuzhou's "Rio de Janeiro"

Qida Village in Lianjiang is a small fishing village, but it looks spectacular from the top of the mountain. It feels like Rio de Janeiro. Drive all the way to "Qida Village Qiguanding" and continue along the road to "Baiyun Temple" after arriving. Continue driving up after Baiyun Temple. The road behind Baiyun Temple is unpaved and narrow, so be careful when passing other cars. After arriving, park along the road. Parking is free, but it is difficult to find a spot when there are many people. Then, go through the stone archway and walk the rest of the way. It takes 20–30 minutes to walk up and down the mountain road and stone steps, which is tiring. It is fine on the way there, but you will feel exhausted on the way back. The mountains in Fujian feel like a whole piece of rock. The scenery at the top of the mountain is beautiful. The view of Qida Village from a high angle is spectacular. Many people take photos at the check-in point, which looks like the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. Qida Village Qiguanding is a must-visit place in Fuzhou.

Qida Village, Lianjiang, Fuzhou / Discover the domestic version of "Rio de Janeiro".

Qida Village, Lianjiang, Fuzhou / Discover the domestic version of "Rio de Janeiro".

In Fuzhou, I found this small "Rio de Janeiro" that makes my heart beat faster. Qida Village is a thousand-year-old fishing village with mountains, sea, islands, and fishing villages. It is known as the "Most Beautiful Fishing Village in Fuzhou". It was selected as one of the top ten charming photography bases in China. Tourists can often be seen wandering between the mountains and the sea with cameras. Must-visit Qiguan Peak. It is recommended to wake up early to watch the sunrise🌄. After climbing 1,800 steps, you will reach the top of the mountain and overlook Qida Village🏞️ The entire fishing village seascape is in full view, and the scenery is no less than that of foreign countries. Unique landscape perspective and unusual scenery Full of holiday feeling Location: Qida Village, Lianjiang, Fujian 📢Transportation (from Fuzhou): ①🚗Self-driving: The most convenient and comfortable way to travel. You can drive your car to the top of the mountain without having to climb a long mountain; ②🚍Bus: Many express buses from Fuzhou city center can reach Lianjiang Bus Station (or take a bus from Fuzhou North Bus Station), and transfer to a bus to Qida Village at the bus station (about one bus per hour from 7:30 to 17:30, do not be late, sometimes the bus will leave early if it is full). 📝【Tips】 ✅Choose a sunny day to come, the view is better and the photos are better📷 ✅There is water for sale on the mountain, you can choose whether to bring water or not according to your physical strength and other factors. ✅It is recommended to wear a pair of comfortable shoes for climbing, and pay attention to sun protection and mosquito repellent! ✅The wind is strong on the top of the mountain, and there is no railing near the large rocks where the photos are taken. Please pay attention to safety when taking photos! ✅If you don't want too many people in your photos, you can come earlier. There will be more people in the afternoon.

Gui'an Happy World Adventure: Challenge the Limits, Enjoy the Fun!

Gui'an Happy World Adventure: Challenge the Limits, Enjoy the Fun!

Gui'an Happy World Adventure: Challenge the Limits, Enjoy the Fun! During my adventure in Gui'an Happy World, I successfully challenged several extreme amusement rides! The thrill and excitement brought by the Speed Windmill and Pirate Ship made my heart feel like it was about to jump out of my chest. The feeling of tension and excitement intertwined is unforgettable to this day. The Flying Boat Surfing allowed me to experience unprecedented speed and passion. At the moment when the water splashed, I felt like a brave sailor conquering the turbulent sea. Although it was a bit regrettable that the roller coaster was not open, the brilliance of other attractions still made me reluctant to leave. Under the scorching summer sun, Gui'an Happy World became the perfect place for me to release my passion and enjoy the fun!

They say it's hot here? I don't believe it | Qida Village

They say it's hot here? I don't believe it | Qida Village

| Qida Village. It's really too beautiful! It has the architectural characteristics of Fujian fishing villages, and it's not inferior to foreign countries at all! You must choose a sunny day to come, the sun can better highlight the spectacular city under the mountain ⛰️ We set off from Fuzhou during the New Year's Day period, originally planned to take the high-speed train, but we had to get on the bus back to the city before 4 o'clock, which was too restrictive, and we also wanted to play other attractions around, after all, we came all the way. So we changed our plan temporarily and chose to rent a car. We rented a Toyota Corolla, the car fee was 51 yuan + fuel fee was 70 yuan, it was really cost-effective If you can drive, it is recommended to rent a car 🚗 to go! Free and convenient~ Itinerary: Qiguanding + Beijiaobi Geological Park 🖼️Picture 1 was taken on the top of Qiguanding, it is recommended not to imitate, too dangerous, especially the small grass next to it, must not step on!! I'm still scared now 🖼️Picture 2 is a flat big stone, much safer, there are people queuing, you can also take a picture with Rio de Janeiro 🖼️Pictures 9~16 are Beijiaobi Geological Park, a free attraction, but it is also a 30-minute drive from Qiguanding, about 700 meters away from the attraction there is a parking lot where you can park. Here's the key point, next to the parking lot there is a neatly repaired staircase that you can climb up, walk to the front there is a platform, covered with tall dead grass, taking pictures 📸 is absolutely beautiful, 🖼️Picture 5, Picture 13-14 were taken here. Accommodation in Qida Village🏨 Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel Around Qida Village, there is only 1️⃣ high-end hotel 🏨 (I didn't expect it to be so cost-effective The room is very large, it is a floor-to-ceiling bay window ➕ unbeatable sea view room, wake up in the morning and open the curtains to see the sunrise 🌅. The room comes with drinks and tea sets. You can enjoy the beautiful view outside the window while drinking tea. Downstairs a few tens of meters is the quiet Dinghai Bay beach 🏖️, very quiet and comfortable. The scenic area has a seafood restaurant that comes with the hotel, the price is very reasonable, you can go to eat with confidence.

Traveling to the summit of the flag-crowned peak, I took in the breathtaking mountain and sea views (with a hitchhiking guide attached)

Traveling to the summit of the flag-crowned peak, I took in the breathtaking mountain and sea views (with a hitchhiking guide attached)

My restless heart, briefly quenched by the crowded scenes of the Spring Festival, was reignited after the peak of the return journey... So I packed my bags for a short off-peak trip to the long-desired 'Rio de Janeiro of Fujian' in Lianjiang Qida Village's flag-crowned peak. Since I was traveling alone, I didn't opt for a self-drive (which would be more convenient and fun with more people), but instead relied on rides and walking for the entire journey. 🚗 Round-trip transportation: 1. Fuzhou⬌Lianjiang: High-speed train🚄 2. Lianjiang Station⬌Lianjiang Bus Station: Taxi🚕or bus🚌 3. Lianjiang Bus Station⬌Flag-crowned Peak: Hitch a ride🚙 📍The bus from Lianjiang Bus Station to Qida (Flag-crowned Peak) runs from 7:30 to 17:30 (about 1 hour per bus, see P11). After arriving at Lianjiang Bus Station, there's no need to buy a ticket at the ticket window or vending machine; just go through security to the Qida ticket gate and tell the staff you're going to Qida. They will lead you to the parking lot entrance to board a 9-seater business van (see P12, the staff mentioned this van can't enter the station). Scan the QR code to pay 20 yuan, and tell the driver you're going to the Flag-crowned Peak. He will ask you to get off at the entrance of Qida Village and walk straight for 100 meters to the Flag-crowned Peak hiking entrance (the large rock with 'Flag-crowned Peak' written on it at P10 is the starting point). For the return trip, you can call the driver to pick you up at the original drop-off point (village entrance), or walk to the pick-up point in Qida Village (see P13, navigate to Jinhaiyuan Taxi). ⛰ Ascending the peak: After getting off the bus, someone asked if I wanted a ride up the mountain. Two girls who got off with me chose to take the ride (though they still had to walk a bit after the car reached halfway up the mountain), but I wanted to challenge the 1,800 steps, so I didn't join them. I must say, those 1,800 steps were not easy to climb. I had to stop and catch my breath frequently, and it took me almost 50 minutes to reach the first peak (where many wish cards are hung), and then another 20 minutes to reach the highest peak (where the national flag is hung). ⚠️The first peak offers better photo opportunities than the highest peak, especially when standing on the outermost rock imitating the Christ the Redeemer statue overlooking the neighboring fishing village. It indeed makes for a great photo. However, it's also quite dangerous, as the rock is beyond the railing. I suggest not to attempt it lightly (I didn't climb out to take photos either; I only took photos of others).

Fuzhou's 'Jeju Island', a niche and stunning marine geological park!!

Fuzhou's 'Jeju Island', a niche and stunning marine geological park!!

A very niche park that few people know about. As soon as you enter, you get an instant feeling of being abroad. This is a boardwalk leading to the sea. The sea is incredibly blue! On sunny days, you don't need any filters at all! It's a great place to watch the sea, sunrise, and sunset. I would call it the most beautiful seaside village in Lianjiang! This is the northeastern part of the Huangqi Peninsula, the easternmost part of Fujian—'Pingliuwei Geological Park'. Here, there are boardwalks and viewing platforms, offering a panoramic view of the beautiful coastal scenery. The marine erosion landforms formed by volcanic rock reefs are diverse and colorful, with steep cliffs, sea erosion caves, sea erosion alleys, sea erosion platforms, and various other marine erosion geological features. Enjoy this stunning coastline all the way, with the Matsu Islands just a stone's throw away. The wind is gentle, the sea is blue, the sky is clear, and the sun shines on the sandy beach. At night, you can see a sea of glowing blue, and you can't help but marvel at the magical tiny creatures known as blue tears. They look like scattered diamonds in the sea or stars falling into the human world. 📍【Location】Village End, Jiaonan Village, Lianjiang County, Fujian Province ⏰【Opening Hours】7:30-17:30 🎫【Ticket】30 RMB/person 🚗【Self-drive】Drive from Fuzhou to Tailu Town, about 2 hours by car 🚌【Minibus】Take the Lianjiang bus to Lianjiang County Bus Station, transfer to the Tailu bus to Jiaonan Station, about 1.5 hours by bus, and walk 10 minutes to reach the scenic area 🚄【High-speed Rail】Take the high-speed rail to Lianjiang Station, take a taxi to Minyun Lianjiang Passenger East Station, and take the Lianjiang-Tailu bus inside the station. Get off at Tailu Town and walk a few hundred meters to reach the destination ‼️Small Tips 1️⃣ The sea breeze is quite strong, so you might want to bring a jacket 2️⃣ This place is quite close to Qida Village, so out-of-town friends can visit both places. You can go to Qida Village first and then come here as the second stop. The sunlight is the softest around 4 PM. 3️⃣ Prepare your ID card, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, sunglasses, and power bank 4️⃣ If you bring pets, the staff will remind you to keep them on a leash and prepare to clean up after them 5️⃣ The attractions are quite niche, so it's recommended to bring your own water and bread. Please protect the environment and do not litter.
