Very nicely maintained hotel in a central location in Thun. Recently stayed a couple of nights in this location and found the hotel to be very well maintained, rooms were clean and less than ten minutes walk to the train station. Location made it quick to walk to train/ferry station to take a very enjoyable ferry ride ride on Lake Thun to then enjoy a day in Interlaken and then the train ride back. Staff that we encountered were great and very helpful answering questions. Highly recommend!

We loved this hotel! Fabian and all of the front desk staff where amazing and made us feel so welcome. It's very close to the train station and walking distance to old town. Breakfast was also good in the M Lounge and the view from our junior suite was amazing. Our only complaint is the elevator situation. We almost missed our flight because it took us 30 minutes to get down. Only 2 out of 3 elevators where working the day we were leaving. Otherwise, it's a great hotel!

I recently stayed at Ruby Mimi Hotel in Zurich for three days and two nights, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, being very near Zurich HB and within walking distance of numerous shops. I was particularly pleased to receive a room upgrade upon arrival, which added a nice touch to my stay. The room was kept impeccably clean every day, which I greatly appreciated. The hotel also offers a galley where guests can make tea, refill hot water, or iron clothes—a thoughtful and practical feature. Ruby Mimi's interesting concept and excellent amenities make it a must-stay hotel in Zurich for anyone seeking convenience and comfort. Highly recommended!

The front desk was friendly and there were many reviews saying that luggage was stored, but it was self check-in, so luggage storage was not possible. It was difficult to find it anywhere on Trip.com. Something different than expected... Even though I wrote down the country code and cell phone number well, the message needed for self check-in did not come, and the central entrance door was being repaired. may have done It seems that the information written here on Treat.com does not work well with hotel check-in. E-mail and phone number were written as they were. Even though I'm not Chinese, my Chinese number was my number. There was no luggage storage, but when I went to check-in, they said they couldn't get in because it was still not cleaned. I think I entered after 1 hour and 30 minutes before the check-in time. After 4:30? However, there was no apology or apology, just wait 5 minutes, wait 10 minutes, that's all. It's been a while and I'm embarrassed to wait longer... embarrassment point -Self check-in: I'm glad I got a text message and had the online key on my phone... i can't even get a text -Check-in time: Even if you arrived after a long time, you have to wait longer; Good point - Close to the station - On a hill but close to the tram - Anyway, it's clean. - Quiet - Air conditioning works well - Spacious bathroom

A great boutique hotel in old town Zurich. 6 minute walk from Zurich HB train station after our flight into Zurich. Front desk staff Sam was extremely helpful and very polite, spoke English very well. Very clean hotel completely updated and this location is AAA for restaurants and bars, and is also quiet for a great nights sleep. Breakfast was ample to start our day. Coffee was great and a good selection of meats, cheeses, cereal and juice. The chocolate fondue machine at the entrance was really neat!

I have spent 18 days working from JOYN Zurich so think this should be a fairly accurate review of my experience. For context, JOYN is new so may still be working through teething issues, but hopefully this is useful feedback. Pros; - Comfortable, well equipped rooms. I was in one of the largest apartments they offer and it is a good space to spend a lot of time - The kitchenette whilst small is workable and has most of what you'd need - Well located close to the airport and about 25 mins by tram to central Zurich - Nice bathroom and good shower pressure - Gym is good with nice new equipment - Very close to great supermarkets (Coop and Migros next door) - The communal spaces are lovely, including the central courtyard and roof gardens - Strong water pressure from the shower (although the drain didn't seem to be able to cope with the volume of water which meant potential overflowing of the shower unless carefully managed) - The room has a small dishwasher. There were two dishwasher tablets provided and these weren't topped up by the cleaners, meaning you'll need to buy more Unfortunately the cons are pretty significant though, particularly if you want to work from here; Cons - The wifi is atrocious. At best the speeds hover around 1mbps which isn't good enough for stable whatsapp or facetime calls, let alone Teams or Zoom work calls. I thought this may have been my room but is pretty much my experience in all the open spaces including the ground floor communal spaces (see screenshot from Speedtest). This makes it unsuitable for any work. - The cleaning services are a bare minimum. After one week they changed my linen and towels but didn't vacuum, sweep the floor, empty bins or clean the bathroom. After another 7 days they'd hadn't come to clean again and when prompted they said it would be cleaned that day (but it wasn't). On the 8th day I asked and again they promised to have it cleaned. Whilst I wouldn't mind cleaning myself, there is no vacuum cleaner, cleaning cloths or anything else in the room to clean with, so unless you want to buy your own, be prepared for it to get pretty dusty and the bathroom to get dirty. Cleaning also didn't include replacing the kitchen towels so you'll have to wash these yourself if you're staying for an extended period. - Other than the supermarkets nearby there is pretty much nothing else around Perhaps they're not used to guests having longer stays, but with cleaning services like this, it will become pretty horrible unless guests buy the cleaning products and do it themselves.

I stayed at this hotel for one night for an early departure. It is located in a neat township of Glattbrugg within a seven-minute bus ride from the Zurich airport. Buses circulate every 6 or 7 minutes. My modest investment of € 80 has paid off in spades. The room was big and uncluttered with a super-comfortable bed and a HUGE TV screen with free movies for all tastes. There was a tiny fridge too with free Coke, beer and orange juice. Spacious wardrobe, large work surface and a big bathroom, with this particular shine that comes from highly professional cleaning. Its only downside from my point of view was a smallish bath in the place of a largish shower cubicle that would have been my preference. There is also a gym, a wellness centre and several eateries including a spareribs place but I had no time for exploring those. Within a short walking distance there are several take-aways and a supermarket. I found the price to be quite reasonable for an airport hotel and even affordable. My only doubt was an insecure internet connection that my browser categorically blocked as it posed a threat to the security of my personal data. Chrome had no such qualms though. All in all, to be highly recommended.

With the stay in a 6-bed dorm room being just an ordinary experience, the best about this place in my opinion are outside the room and specifically the ”wide corridors” nicely spacious to walk around & the ”huge lounge” downstairs with plenty of work-spaces (big tables & chairs all around). And yes, also pretty ”nice & filling” was its buffet-styled breakfast with really a variety of items (actually food available throughout the day with lunch & dinner as well but which you have to pay for unlike the breakfast included with the stay). If coming here from the Zurich Central (HB) Station, there's the train first to Hardbrucke (just one station from HB) followed by the bus to Jugendherberge (about a 15-minute ride and getting off at the station just before its last stop of Morgental). And if going downtown from here to the area with the city's ”main churches” (Fraumunster, Grossmunster & St. Peter's), there's a tram at just about a 5-minute walk ”straight from” the front entrance (and likely at a frequent interval).

The hotel is wonderful in many aspects. The interesting thing is that it is located in Walliselen, just right next to Glatt Zentrum shopping department store. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi access throughout the property. The Internet speed is fast. With the modern electric tram, not only the bus, brings me to reach the city center of Zurich and the Main Train Station in short time. In the room, it provides a flat-screen cable TV, a desk, and a bathroom with shower. At lobby area, I noticed that guests can also enjoy the food corner. There is a vending machines there. When need anything, the 24-hour front reception always is there. Very helpful staffs. I also would like to mention the General manager, Mr. Frank Trapa. He is very friendly. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience at this hotel. We were left to suffer in 80+ degree heat in our room with no air conditioning. The front desk clerk tried to accommodate by moving us to another room but after checking multiple rooms across multiple floors, none had a functioning HVAC system. He noted other guests were also complaining of the same issue. Management, however, refused to provide alternative accommodations considering they could not fix the HVAC system. We ultimately had to sleep with cold wet towels on our bodies to make it through the night. Totally unacceptable to lack functioning air conditioning in the middle of summer. After my stay, I discovered this has been a recurrent issue at this hotel and management has repeatedly failed to remediate it. You can read the compendium of Google reviews below mine and you will curiously find that management will not respond to those which raise the air conditioning issue. Unsurprisingly, management never responded to multiple emails I sent seeking to have my stay compensated which compelled me to reach out to Hilton Worldwide directly. Once I contacted Hilton’s corporate office and explained my experience at this hotel, Hilton, thankfully, DID compensate me. Hilton Worldwide also indicated they will be investigating the issue directly and will be sending inspectors to evaluate compliance with brand standards. Repeated violations of HGI brand standards in the form of no HVAC in multiple guest rooms is a brazen gamble on the part of the proprietors. Hopefully they will reconsider their practices as it relates to facility management. But until they do, I advise that you stay far away from the Hilton Garden Inn Zurich Limmattal.
