Garden Palace

Very disappointing experience with the cafe and hotel service. My husband and I chose this hotel primarily because of the convenience of having a cafe where I could work. Prior to booking, I visited the cafe and explicitly asked the staff if it was okay to work there from 12 to 6 next day, needing just an outlet and the ability to order food and drinks. The staff assured me it wouldn't be a problem due to the cafe's low occupancy at that time, so I booked a room for the night. The next day, I settled on the terrace as suggested by cafe staff and started working. However, at 4:00 pm, a security guard came to me, interrupting an important call, and loudly demanded to know who had authorized me to work there. Despite my attempts to explain the prior arrangement with the cafe staff, he insisted that such decisions were beyond their authority and demanded I pay a fee for 'renting' the space. When I asked why the staff had allowed me to work if they couldn't make such decisions and hadn't checked with anyone senior, he disregarded this argument. Despite asking to speak with a manager, the guard delayed and was unhelpful. It's worth mentioning that during the entire day I was in the cafe, there wasn't a single customer. To my dismay, I was kicked out of the cafe in the middle of the call without the chance to collect the food I had already paid for and hadn't eaten yet. This incident was highly unprofessional and upsetting, especially as a frequent traveler. I hope the management takes note of this review and addresses the behavior of their security staff to prevent similar misunderstandings for future guests. If this is the norm for this place, I recommend avoiding it.

The hotel is super for its price!. Really good location, stunning views, modern and beautiful infrastructure, clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast is OK. It would be better if staff had been more hospitable. P.S. Restaurant in this hotel was horrible, huge prices and tasteless dishes.
