I can't say enough nice things about this beautiful hotel. We stayed 7 nights in one of the Master Suites on the second floor and I loved the combination of the enclosed bedroom (with AC and ceiling fans) with the open-to-the-air portion of the suite with kitchen, super-comfortable hammock, plunge pool, balcony, and seating area (and more fans). The staff was extremely helpful and efficient (especially Cintya) and went out of their way to help us celebrate a milestone birthday. The entire hotel and pool are very clean and we appreciated the complimentary morning coffee & pastries. It's a short walk (~5 minutes) down to the beach and many restaurant options, and there's a convenient taxi stand nearby if you want to travel further. On several occasions we took advantage of the hotel's room service and were very satisfied with the tasty meals. As a bonus, the trees surrounding the hotel are filled with wonderful birds, especially during the cooler morning hours. I loved watching them from our room's balcony. This hotel is about 30 minutes from the Zihuatanejo airport. Very convenient!

We have again experienced a wonderful, relaxing vacation at the very best boutique hotel ever! After many trips to this authentic Mexican paradise we are always amazed at the beauty of the hotel and the very close La Ropa Beach.. This hotel is definitely our first choice of any spot in Mexico. Every time we go we feel we are returning to family. The staff have all been there for many years under the amazing management of Cintya. Cintya is a very caring, helpful manager. She will arrange tours, dinner reservations, doctors appointments if necessary, and has even filled prescriptions and had them delivered to us. She is an amazing manager. Villa Carolina is definitely the best spot to stay in Zihuatanejo.

Two Thumbs Up!! Amazing place, amazing staff. Staying at this place brought me back to a time when hospitality was at the forefront of a hotels goals. With all the cutbacks now that you see everywhere when we stay someplace we are lucky to get our beds made. Cintya has a great staff. Marta, Elizabeth and the men that are at the ready if anything needs tweaking. Our beds were made every day, drinking water was replenished, pools and public areas spotlessly cleaned. Staff seem very happy. It all comes from the upper management and Cintya has it all covered. We already booked for next year. We can’t wait to return to such an amazing place.

From the moment of arrival we were treated not like guests but like family. Cintya warmly greeted us by name and then proceeded to show us the different rooms available. We decided upon one of the master suites which were incredible. Bigger then many homes and condos with a very large covered open space with all of the amenities you could want including a plunge pool and well equipped kitchen it was the perfect place to escape for a week. Everybody who works there is a long time staff which says a lot about the quality management and ownership. Quick and quality room or pool service is available with a simple phone call. With only 7 rooms and suites and an adult only policy this is the perfect place to stay when visiting Zihuatanejo. The beach, restaurants and taxis are all only a few minutes easy walk away. An easy 5 star review to write Thank you for making us part of the Villa Carolina family

Wonderful service from Cintya and staff. This was an impressive place. I had a small problem with the shower and they were there to service it in 10 minutes after I emailed them. I didn’t even need to call. I have stayed in major hotels where blocked drains have taken 3 or 4 DAYS to be addressed. We loved our stay and wouldn’t hestitate to recommend it!

We were fortunate to discover this hidden gem through friends & have gone back several times. The staff are always friendly and never change & our stay always starts with welcoming hugs from Cintya (the manager) while Irvin & Manuel take charge of our luggage. Cintya ensures she is always onsite when guests arrive & personally escorts us to our room. We are welcomed by fresh flowers & a complimentary beverage & questioned as to what more they can do to make our stay better. From booking resturant reservations to suggestions on where to go, there is always someone ready to help. There are only seven beautiful suites and it’s easy to make friends with the other guests as we gather around the pool area. Not to mention, it’s a short block to the LaRopa beach with some great restaurants & amazing sunsets. We keep coming back & feel fortunate to have discovered such a special place.

So unique. It’s more like a house with suites and they are fabulous. Such a spacious personal outdoor space for each of the lower suites feeling like the pool area is simply our back yard. Cyntia is a most gracious and attentive host helping us with reservations etc. And above and beyond with recognizing 2 guests birthdays during their stay. So safe, close to the beach and a variety of restaurants. Pretty special.

Privacy, cleanliness, wonderful floor plan, easy access to the beach and town. Cintya and her staff made sure we felt at home and even had a celebratory gift and birthday cake on guests special day! Always attentive to ones needs in a quiet and efficient way! What a treat!!!

Everything perfect. We loved the hotel, the staff, the view, location to the beach. We had the top villa for 4 nights.and enjoyed a magnificent sunset every night from our private jacuzzi We will be back.
