Yuwenquan Hot Spring Resort

Had a fantastic experience, though I skipped the hot springs as they didn't seem particularly special. The highlight: it's incredibly photogenic! Definitely come prepared with your makeup and outfits. I heard they rent costumes on-site, but bringing your own would be much better.

Absolutely top-notch! First off, I arrived quite early on my check-in day, and the receptionist was incredibly welcoming. They went out of their way to find an available room for me, allowing an early check-in. So, I was able to drop off my luggage and hit the hot springs bright and early, which was fantastic! 👍 Every staff member I encountered afterward – from the shuttle drivers to the chefs at the Grand Temple Fair – greeted me with a smile and were so enthusiastic and helpful. I later learned that this hot spring hotel has been around for 30 years, yet all the facilities are still wonderfully maintained!

Had a fantastic experience! All the staff were incredibly polite and had excellent service. There were also plenty of activities to enjoy. Both the breakfast and the temple fair food were delicious, and the temple fair itself was super fun – enjoyed by kids and seniors alike.

The heart and soul of Yu Hot Springs is its grand temple fair dinner, which is exceptionally well-designed and creates a fantastic ancient market atmosphere. The food variety is incredibly comprehensive, offering everything from hearty main courses and seafood to snacks and desserts. There are so many stalls with abundant choices, making for an excellent experience as you browse and eat. The hot springs are comfortable and relaxing, and combined with the temple fair dinner, it makes for a perfect two-day, one-night short trip. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience! They even upgraded my room. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily, so I didn't get to try any of the outdoor facilities or ride a bike. I'll definitely come back to enjoy them next time!

This resort is excellent for family trips. The rooms are primarily Japanese-style, and the hot springs are open 24 hours, which is a great feature. The highlight was definitely the temple fair-themed dinner – a buffet where you can stroll around, eat, and listen to music, making for a fantastic experience. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and the coffee was superb!

I've been here several times now, and as always, I'm completely satisfied! I think I've stayed in all the room types, but my favorite is still the Yuying Villa. The food is consistently excellent too; it would be even better if there were more fruit varieties. This time, I guess because of the scorching weather, there were very few people, so I practically had the hot spring pools all to myself, which was really nice, haha. However, because it was so hot, I didn't want to stay outside for too long. After eating, I'd just head back to the room and enjoy the air conditioning. The tickets for the attractions and game tokens provided for the two nights were basically unused, and I couldn't soak in the hot springs for long before breaking out in a sweat. Next time, it would definitely be better to come when the weather is cooler. 😂

A truly memorable experience! While the hot springs felt pretty standard, the service was excellent. They offered complimentary sweet soup, and the Cantonese-style breakfast, made fresh to order, was absolutely delicious. The food at the temple fair was incredibly fresh and tasted great. Just a tip: stock up on game tickets before you enter the temple fair, because we ran out of the complimentary ones really quickly and there's nowhere inside to buy more. I'd suggest asking the front desk for extra tickets when you check in.
