VAYA Zell am See is a nice accommodation located near cable cars🚡. The room was spacious, clean and had a balcony. The bathroom was clean and offered a sufficient amount of towels. The parking is in front and next to the hotel. The staff were pleasant. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The hotel is in a beautiful location for relaxation and taking tours. Breakfast offered a wide selection of food and fruits. Staying in the hotel was a pleasant experience.

Hotelanlage war sehr gut und mit tolle Bergblick. Die Lage war perfekt, direkt am Bergbahnstation.
Morgen Buffet was ausgezeichnet und Abendessen kulinarische Genuss. Servicepersonal war sehr höflich und zügig.
Einzige was wir schwach gefunden haben ist:
Wunderschöne Barterrasse war immer geschlossen und wir konnten nie irgendwo etwas trinken und die Sonne geniessen.
Rezeption Bedienung war sehr schwach und inkompetent. Nach Ausflug Möglichkeiten, am Zell am See und Umgebung, konnten sie uns nicht beraten "Ich bin nicht von hier" und gab sie uns eine englische Ausflugkarte. Wenn wir nach OV Plan und Verbindungsmöglichkeiten gefragt haben, sagten sie uns "Ich fahre nicht OV"
Ansonst hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren eine Woche lang und erlebnisreicher Urlaub gehabt. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen und weiterempfehlen.

Op zich prima hotel en faciliteiten. Sauna te zeer beperkt en geen rustruimte, zit naast zwembad zodat sauna gebruikers en zwembad gebruikers door elkaar heen lopen. Avond eten in buffet vorm ondermaats, er werd te weinig bijgevuld en soms helemaal niet, op is op dus als je wat later kwam had je pech. Personeel wisselend, paar lopen echt hard en doen hun uiterste best, sommigen ruimden af zonder een woord te zeggen of vragen. Al met al veel geld en prijs-kwaliteit verhouding niet goed

Loved Vaya! Lady on reception was lovely and welcoming. Facilities were fantastic (sauna & steam on a daily basis were perfect in the cold weather). Bedroom was clean, comfortable and not to forget the most stunning views on the slopes. The food was amazing! One of the best half board hotels I’ve had the pleasure to eat it! Fresh tasty food cooked for each meal. Our waiter wasn’t particularly freindly but perhaps he was having a bad week :) Thanks Vaya, we will definitely be coming back! Room 308 16th - 19th Feb

A good modern hotel, where everything is clean. The staff are efficient and it is a good location for skiers, right at the bottom of the ski lifts. Big drawback however, if you like wine with your dinner on holiday. The wine list is very very limited, and there are only half a dozen red wines which seem to be all Austrian. In my opinion, these seem overpriced. There are no wines from countries like France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Argentina, Australia, etc. Why would they do that? It’s our holiday!!

I have just returned from a week long stay in Vaya Zell am See and I had a great stay. Hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Special mention to the lady on reception who greeted us on arrival on the Sunday night (apologises I can't remember her name) and bar/waiter's Pavel and Mato, who could not do enough for us. They were very friendly, professional and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from a three night stay at the VAYA, Zell am See. Hotel staff is pleasant and you can feel and see that they are top professionals in their job! The room was very spacious, clean and tidy, a spa bag was on the bed with a robe, slippers and a towel for the inner pool. The breakfast was superb, everything you want and more, from cereals, fresh fruit, breads, pastries,bacon, eggs, ham, cheese, salads... Dinner was also delicious and plentiful, with a buffet style for the first day. Second day we enjoyed Austrian dishes prepared by Chef Gary. Superb taste and quality of the food! Third night was a steak night! Fantastic!The hotel bar was very welcoming with seats looking on to the slopes. We took a trip to mountain nearby, location of the hotel is just nearby the ski lifts which will take you up there. We also went to Gipfelwelt 3000 meters panoramic platform, at the top of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. We will definitely return!!!

Lovely hotel in an idyllic setting next to cable cars and bus stop. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to town and very hilly. Regular bus to bring back up. Had a superior room with French balcony for enjoying the views. Excellent room cleaning daily and towels changed as required. Bathrobe slippers and towel provided for enjoying the indoor pool. The pool was small but ideal for quick swim after long day out. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Shout out to restaurant staff who were always smiling and helped with translating menu. A good variety of food both at breakfast and dinner. Dinner main meal choices included meat, fish and vegetarian option. Used the bar a couple of nights and this included a good cocktail selection. Overall a lovely hotel to base yourself in Zell am See. The inclusion of Summer Card for activities, boat rides, public transport and much more was included with the hotel and was exceptional. Would definitely return.
