Terrible Experience - Dishonest Host and Front Desk
My experience at this hotel was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I booked a room through Trip.com, and my friend booked another through ***********. Upon arrival, we were told that only one room was available, even though our reservations showed two different rooms with distinct sizes (32m² for mine and 26m² for my friend's). The host admitted he knew about the double booking issue from the start but didn't inform us, despite contacting my friend earlier to confirm our arrival time. He only asked if we were willing to share a room when we arrived, given the lack of other options in the area at that time of night.
That evening, the host offered a 70% refund for my booking, which was disappointing but we agreed to it. However, when we checked out, the hotel refused to provide any refund at all. They claimed that I had stayed in the second room, which was not true. I had stayed in the room booked under my friend’s name, so we effectively paid for two rooms but only got one, with no refund for the unused room.
The host and the front desk staff were incredibly unhelpful and dishonest throughout the process. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it shows a complete lack of integrity. If we hadn't been friends, this could have been a much worse situation, possibly leaving one of us without a place to stay. I would strongly advise against staying here if you're looking for trustworthy and reliable service.
