Comparing to other 5-stars hotels we've been to: 1. Bathrooms - No wet wipes or air freshener. But it was spacious 2. Breakfasts - Cold buffet available, no toaster. Small choice of cartoned fruit juices available upon request - only orange and apple, no grapefruit, pineapple. ”Selection of cheeses/meats/cakes” label was 'obvious', - would be more helpful to label each fully. Small choice of yogurts (one). Hot dishes ordered from breakfast menu. Ordered mixed omelet and got plain egg. Ordered 2 teas and got one. Tea at 5 star we would expect proper loose leaf quality tea, but we got 'flavoured green tea' bag. And a slice of lemon that was just skin and no lemon. 3. Room - few choices of coffee/tea available; no milk (you can ask for more). Only very small cups available (not suitable for tea). TV. Lack of streaming like Netflix. Only terrestrial, mostly Polish with very few in English. Wifi was strong and fast in room though. Bed was comfortable and large. Room temperature was adjustable only by a fiddly electronic screen. Far easier are physical dials and controls. 4. Pool - small, more for relax and play, than swimming. 1 or 2 can swim at a time. It was chlorinated (not ozone). Crazy that it closes at 10pm, so after day out/evening meal you have very little time to use it. Midnight or 11pm would be more acceptable. Should be a time for adults only use of the spa - eg 9pm to 11pm at least, as it was very noisy with so many young children. It was 'winter break' time so we can understand the number of young screaming children, but feel that a reasonable limit could be in place, time-wise. 5. Sauna - Good that there was a it is a 'proper', traditional, Finnish, healthy, correct sauna, (nude or in a cotton wrap) but this was not enforced. This meant that ignorant people were sitting in wet swimming costumes. This is dangerous, unhealthy and insanitary, as the chlorine form the pools evaporates in the hot sauna air, and the dyes and the plastics from the costumes cause skin problems and the body cant sweat properly. Others sat directly on the wood causing damage to the sauna, and unhygienically sweating directly on the wood. Aromas/oils were available upon request, but that meant asking for it regularly, 4-5 times. 6. The outside deck (to jacuzzi) very slippery, like ice-rink! This should be improved or the ice cleared. 7. The 'jazz pianist' was monotonous, boring, and seemed to have only one style. 8. Paid parking only (50zl a day). We would expect that included.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Didn't get off to a good start. Lady with blonde hair checking us in was so rude that we were taken aback. Needs customer service training or a new job. But things improved after this. Other reception staff were lovely. I had hurt my back and asked one of the staff to ring a physio I had found online. I don't speak Polish. Lady had someone she suggested and he came to the hotel. He was brilliant and a greatly helped my back. Great recommendation from hotel receptionist. Rooms were quite big. Nothing flash, but spotless and for the money great value. Note no fridge in rooms. We were there in winter so just left our milk outside on the window sill. Breakfast was okay. Not alot of hot food. Took ages to get a omelette. A toaster would be a great addition for your international visitors who aren't use to just bread for breakfast. Location was just perfect. Right on K Street. I would definately stay here again if ever back in Zakapone.

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of Zakopane. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed (though pillows are a bit flat). Resort facilities include pool, saunas, whirlpool - all included in room rate. On-site spa offers various treatments (massage, facials, etc) for reasonable fees. Breakfast buffet offers very good variety. I would have rated this place excellent except that accessibility is an issue. For example: access to some floors requires both elevator and stairs. Access to dining room has stairs and a very steep ramp.

The hotel was a few days at the end of October. The weather was fine - it was beautiful 😃👍 Hotel is a very large hotel divided into five stars and three. (Versal) We had the opportunity to live in 5*😊 It was a double room(deluxe) quite large with a beautiful balcony and a mountain view (unfortunately covered with raw roofs of houses standing right next to the hotel and constantly under repair in one of the properties. ) It was a little uncomfortable ☹️ The room is nicely equipped (no bark in such a hotel class a little strange-unless it is due to a pandemic) Breakfast and dinners are very good, staff are nice. Hotel location very good (everywhere close) For us it was a nice stay 😊 Everyone must decide whether the hotel is worth these stars and 😊 prices

We had a lovely stay in this super oldie worldie hotel. It has a completely relaxed feel from the moment you walk in. The comfy lounge seats inviting on arrival & each evening after a days exploring. Hotel is walking distance from the train station & main pedestrian st of Zakopane.Breakfast was delicious & a variety of choice. Rooms were decorated of a time long gone which just added the special touch to this super hotel. Swimming pool was also a joy to use. I would highly recommend.
My 4-people family spent a week there. The apartment is located in the center of Zakopane. Our room was clean and comfortable. Very good place to stay for reasonable price. Free parking, supermarket ”Biedronka” and all attractions within a short distance. Friendly and professional staff. I can recommend this place without any doubt.
Część restauracyjna super, brakowało mi jedynie mleka bez laktozy i roślinnego do wyboru. Dość mała część spa jak na tyle osób i jedna sauna zupełnie nieoznaczona, naewt nie wiadomo czy to sauna? Jednak hotel bardzo mi się podobał i na pewno jeszcze wrócę :D
GGuest UserThe hotel has its advantages and disadvantages, but it effectively ruined our stay of former children in the SPA zone and on saunas. After 30 km walk to relax in the sauna, so I chose the hotel from the SPA. My partner gave up his visits to the SPA when we found out there were children yelling, mainly because staying in a saunarium, which is a naked zone, is at least uncomfortable with 11-year-old girls. I decided to give the SPA zone a second chance, but I gave up immediately after I discovered that someone in a Finnish dried sauna had a puppy owl that the child had just played jacuzzi. I reported the reception problem, unfortunately without effect - there is no age regulation, children are allowed to stay in the SPA. There were other problems, such as: no towels, broken shower (the room was only listed when you tried to intervene by booking). As for the pluses: good breakfast, great location, 10 minutes from the route to Nosal. We have not been given the data to test the restaurant because there is no option without meat in the menu. The hotel has business and business clients, so (wrongly) I assumed that it complies with certain standards. I was completely joking about the fact that the hotel does not accept animals.
9987_ukaszjThe greatest advantage of the hotel is its location, three minutes from Krupówek, shops and the stop. From where the beer can go on the paths. We decided to go to this hotel, because at the same price as the room in some villas we had access to a pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The big plus is the bar in the lobby open 24/7, often after returning to the hotel we didn't want to go for something stronger to the city, and here everything is on the spot and the prices are very affordable. I recommend choosing options with breakfast, a big choice and very delicious
Where do you start. We found this hotel through one of the major booking sites. Location, great, rating according to the booking site fabulous 8.7 out of 10. £110 per night. What couldn’t be right with this place. We stayed in room 405 1 ) Reception staff appalling. They couldn’t care less about your issues. 2) Aircon isn’t working. It was over 30 degrees outside. In July. We asked and all we got was “it’s not working.” No apology. 3) Lift was unreliable. Would the doors close or just keep reopening? It was a lottery 4) Checkout time at 6:15 am as we had a 7am train. Lift was out of action. Turns out they power it off at night. Reception couldn’t care less. 5 Rooms need a total refurb. Carpet bleached from sunlight and had a burn in it. Exposed wire in the bathroom, fridge unplugged when we arrived, which isn’t ideal when you have some food and drinks to keep cool. Kettle leaking on to the base. Tbf the handy man got us a new kettle. 6) breakfast was limited to say the least. Luckily we aren’t fussy eaters but there was no variation across the 4 days. The building outside looks beautiful. You go to sit on the decking and it’s rotten. Bowed and sticking up. Plus side. Location View from the balcony. The staff were spoken to by us in both Polish and English, so it was a case of misunderstanding. This place needs a top to bottom overhaul including the staff. I wouldn’t be surprised if the aircon was off because of costs rather than being broken. This place looks like it’s run out of cash. I hope the owners of this hotel reply, as I can’t wait to hear their response. There’s loads of similar priced accommodation in the area. Go there instead!!! Be warned.
Decent accommodation conditions at a good price. Close to the center. Nice staff. The facility is spacious and clean. Large rooms, fully equipped. Although I was there for one night, everything I needed was there.
Ssofmen7This is like a kind of cheap annex of the Carlton Hotel. In fact, the reception desk is located in the Carlton. Here the staff is quite friendly and helpful with indications (it's quite hard to find the tourist office in the town), especially with the public transportation needed to arrive to the several entry points of the National Park. I took a single room for 4 nights and a economy double room for other 2, as it was not possible to book the 6 nights altogether in the single one. But when I arrived I was told that the manager had arranged that I could stay in the same single room the 6 nights. Nice, but the difference paid for the economy double room was never returned (I've suggested to the officer that I could have a breakfast in compensation, but he replied that that was to be discussed with the manager, who seemed to be the invisible man that all the staff was afraid of...). The room was provided with soap, good set of towel, bed linen, a very warm duvet and cover. There was also a common balcony that can give you a good relaxation time while looking at the mountains, if you are in the front part of the builing , or at the trees in the parking place. The building is of good quality so you don't hear noises of neighbours, meaning you can have a good quality of sleep. Even if my room was leading to the parking lot, I didn't hear the cars, and I imagine that it was of the soundproofness of the window and balcony door. In the corridor you have a boiling kettle with coffe, tea and sugar. In a sense, you are ”left alone” during your stay, as there's nobody coming to do the cleaning (you can throw your own garbage in the parking lot). If you need a change of towels you have to pay for it. So it's understandable that people ask for a fridge, as the way of ”giving service” is just as renting an apartment to you. Single rooms are in the 2nd floor, so you will have to climb stairs that can be quite painful after 8 hours in the Tatras. The floor has carpet, so it can be kind of warm in case of hot weather, but you can leave the balcony's door open. Sockets were only 2: one in the bathroom and other below the table. No soap provided. But location is perfect: just 3 blocks away from the main (peatonal) street, and other 3 blocks away from the main road where buses pass by to go to Tatras. In these 2 roads you have restaurants and markets for food. The breakfast offered is the one at the Carlton's, where they can also prepare lunch, but no dinner. I was offered to keep my luggage there the last day and to use the lobby room for internet.
GGuest UserWe like this hotel...this was our 3th visit here.this hotel is very good, good possition - near ski area, perfect food/restaurant and great wellness. But during our last stay we were quite dissapointed - 1.cleaning services wasnt good (we had to ask them if they can put our trash away from our room after 2 days) and 2 issue we had with kids club - opening hours till 7:00 pm - I think it can be longer, They were finish with kids attraction 2 hours earlier than are closing time, and plugs in kids club are not safe - its quite danger. I hope they will change these things in the future because this place deserve it - because its beautiful place for winter holiday.😉
