We have just returned from 14 nights at this resort and I will give our honest review. Never having been to Greece I didn’t know what to expect. The resort is small, clean and ideal for adult couples. Food was fabulous, check out the show cooking section in the restaurant, plenty of choice for all tastes, meat fell apart, BBQ was a bit dry. Breakfast was a bit boring, could do with some pancakes, waffles or crepes as an alternative in the mornings. We ended up skipping breakfast after 4/5 days when the hash browns weren’t available but that was our choice, there were cereals, cold cuts and hot choices available. Catering team were lovely, helpful and friendly. Rooms were a bit dated, but very clean, cleaning team were lovely. I was ill whilst there and the cleaner for our room changed the bed when I had to visit the private clinic as she wanted to make the room nice and clean, not that it was dirty. Pool was very cold, didn’t venture in due to that, “hot” tub wasn’t hot. Pool bar manned and staff were great. The only draw back around the pool was the lifeguard, aptly nicknamed “Doris Gump”, from her dictatorial methods when on the beds near her, which she kept moving her chair towards, her weird stares, her food in a Tupperware container under her table in the heat for 5 hours from lunchtime, her incessant moving of beds and tying ropes to safety devices and beds, playing music and what sounded like chat radio all very irritating not to mention the staring and watching when you were chatting with others, was not relaxing at all when she was around. Oh and telling other guests when anyone said anything at reception which was highly unprofessional. So if you go do not be put off in that corner by her odd behaviour. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly. Entertainment was basic but broke up the week. Shuttle service was fabulous if you wanted to use it. We have booked again thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks, had a giggle.
