Stay Swanky Hostel

Lower Town
I'm not a frequent hostel-goer, but my stay here was less than impressive despite the high praise it often receives. The 11-person dorm felt cramped, featuring creaky wooden beds placed too closely together. The bedding and air quality left much to be desired. On the plus side, the facilities were decent and relatively clean, including a bar area that seemed underutilized both by guests and outsiders. Considering the £20 per night price tag, there are plenty of other options in Zagreb that offer a better value for the same cost

The room is clean and cute. The comfort is also substantial, and I am very satisfied! Check-in time is fixed, so you need to confirm in advance. The hotel will charge an on-site cleaning fee. The service is very good, I recommend it because I am very satisfied as a hotel ^ _ ^

The location is centrally located but the rooms are still quiet. Rooms and bathrooms are well appointed, and check in was a breeze. The building also has an elevator which is a major plus with luggage. Breakfast is lovely, fresh with lots of options. Mia was incredibly nice and helpful with things like how to use the train, makes an excellent cappuccino, and just overall a very nice person. There wasn’t a single thing wrong with our stay here. 10/10 would recommend and return if I am ever in Zagreb again.

I hurriedly booked a balcony room in this hotel on the cheap without reading the reviews. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I immediately told the front desk that I wanted to change to a quieter room. Because I was on a business trip and had to hold online meetings, sleep was very important. The front desk quickly changed the room for me. I just had to wait for the room to be cleaned, and the room was still there. It is relatively large and has an industrial style, but the network is not particularly good. The main noise in my room does not come from the restaurants and bars on the first and second floors, but from the tram outside the street. The sound insulation of the room is very average, even if the windows are closed It's normal even when it's closed. The hotel is also being renovated gradually, and the place seems a bit cramped. This place is suitable for young people, who like to dance to the disco without sleeping. The only advantage is that it is very close to the city center. It is convenient to go shopping anywhere. The room is also equipped with various necessities, as well as earplugs. Breakfast alone is more expensive, costing 10 euros per person, but the quality is less than 10 euros. level.
Hotel Antunovic Zagreb

The hotel was ok but we were not happy with the dishonesty of the housekeeping. My friends left behind an envelope with money which was meant to pay our tour operator on the table in their room. They remembered half an hour later after we left the hotel. Our guide called the hotel but they said it is no envelope to be found. The envelope contained EUR 430 and it had names and amount written on it. It is also bulky so it is not possible for housekeeping to miss it or for them to think that the envelope is for them. We only stayed there a night and it is improbable that anyone would leave a tip that is much more than the cost of the hotel stay. I hope this serves as a warning to potential guests that they be wary of dishonest housekeeping in that hotel.
