Met at airport by personable representative of Longitude 131 who helped with luggage and drove us to the hotel. Check In process was very casual and my wife mentioned just in passing that we didn’t get to eat lunch and shortly a fantastic charcuterie tray and drinks appeared while we were still “checking in”. After we ate and enjoyed our drinks, we were taken to our room/cabin/tent. Our room was awesome! Stylish, comfortable and had panoramic view of Uluru. There was a large lounge bed on the balcony where you could sleep outside. The “rooms” are spread out enough that you forget there are other rooms/cabins. Bathroom was perfectly sized; water pressure, temp was great. All meals , service , cocktails were excellent. Because it rained heavily all day and night the entire time were there, we didn’t get to really take advantage of any of the experiences and amenities which was disappointing. But the hotel team took us to the Rock to see the hundreds of waterfalls flowing off because of the heavy rain. The entire place is absolutely outstanding and the staff/team were stellar, food was excellent. Finally, I was surprised they knew it was my birthday but during my breakfast they brought a Happy Birthday plate. A great way to start the day! We highly recommend Longitude 131

We had high expectations of our stay & these were exceeded! as a group of 3 we stayed in the Dune Pavilion which was incredible. We stayed for 4 nights & were able to do everything we wanted, we even had a morning ‘at leisure’ & enjoyed massages in the spa which were great. if you can manage it i would suggest stay at least 3 nights, other guests staying 2 nights had a very packed agenda. From arrival at the airport through to our evening departure the staff were amazing ! everyone was friendly & helpful, we enjoyed getting to know them. The meals & wines were delicious, as a vegetarian i was very well catered for. The tours were well organised & the guides very informative. We had thunderstorms during our stay, but still managed to enjoy a slightly chilly dinner under the stars (sadly no star gazing as too cloudy but heaters & fleece ponchos were provided) & we also had a windy dinner on the dune top! We all wonder how we can ever top this experience! thank you all

We stayed for 2 night 1 week ago and were met with a timetable that was given to us, and we were told that it was no problem yo change the agenda. At that time we told them that on the top of our list was to walk around Uluru, and we knew that it was around 10km. It was some discussion around that, but we were told that no decision needed to be taken there and then. We mentioned this again the next day, and the answer was that according to the agenda it started to get more and more difficult, and our suggestion was that we could bike around. That was also very difficult, and it ended up not being possible from the hotels side. This was very disappointing, and it should be possible to arrange for the price people need to pay for the stay. The place was missing the final touches, also when it comes to the staff. The guiding on their own agenda was very good.

From the moment we stepped off the plane, we were warmly welcomed by the Longitude staff, setting a positive tone for our stay. Check-in was seamless, with a refreshing beverage offered right away, a thorough review of our itinerary, and a smooth escort to our room. One highlight was the massage, which was truly exceptional and much needed after a long flight and early start to the day. The tours were another standout, with guides who were both knowledgeable and respectful of cultural protocols, ensuring a deep and authentic understanding of the area's history and heritage. In terms of dining, the atmosphere was wonderful, and we always felt well taken care of. The team’s welcoming and energetic approach added to the overall experience, making each meal a pleasure after a day of exploration. Every part of our stay, from the activities to the hospitality, was delivered with such a high standard that my partner and I couldn’t pick a favourite. Whether it was seeing Uluru and Kata Tjuta from the sky or learning about the culture at the local centre, each experience was a 10/10. We've been sharing our memories with friends and family ever since and can't wait to visit again in the future. We would like to extend special commendation to a few team members who went above and beyond during our stay. Renee, in particular, stood out with her genuine approach, passion, and humour, making the group feel comfortable and engaged throughout the experience. Her knowledge and respect for the cultural context added a special touch to the tours. Additionally, a member of the dining staff (we regret not catching his name) who mentioned he was heading to Bali for a month’s leave, provided outstanding service with his bubbly and energetic demeanour, making each dining experience a highlight after a long day. Both individuals exemplified the high standard of hospitality we experienced throughout our stay, and their warmth and attentiveness truly enhanced our visit. While the Longitude tour guides were outstanding and provided a high-quality experience, we believe that incorporating Aboriginal tour guides could further enhance the cultural authenticity of the tours. Given that many of the discussions focused on Aboriginal culture and history, having Traditional Owners or Aboriginal guides share these stories firsthand would create a deeper connection for guests. Additionally, offering a Welcome to Country ceremony performed by a Traditional Owner, either upon guest arrival or during the first-night dinner under the stars, would elevate the cultural experience. This not only strengthens the connection to the Aboriginal culture you are promoting but also provides meaningful employment opportunities for the local Aboriginal community. Overall, our experience at Longitude was exceptional, and we truly appreciated the care and attention that went into every aspect of our stay. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. We left with won

It was our second time at Longitude and we weren’t disappointed. It’s a beautiful facility in Australia’s red center. The food and service was excellent. I had a stone massage that was lovely as well. It’s very relaxing but also lots to see. We really enjoyed our hikes and learning about the area. Dining outside under the stars was phenomenal and you can even sleep under the stars on the deck of your room. Incredible!

My wife and I have just enjoyed a magical 4 nights at Longitude 131, in the presence of Uluru. Every part of the experience was perfect . Other reviews have highlighted the amazing activities/ experiences on offer, and the culinary delights presented at every meal. I therefore focus on the superb staff - all wonderfully professional and exuding genuine warmth and friendship. With apologies to those we have unwittingly omitted, Sandra and Tim offer our heartfelt thanks to Lauren( well done for answering ALL my questions!) and Chris who greeted us at the front desk every day, to Sam , Katie and Renee for the tours, to George, Isla and Wita for attending to our every need at the dining venues and bars. Most of all , sincere thanks to head chef Marama, who produced with her team the most exquisite meals every day. We recommend you stay a minimum of 3 nights, to enjoy all the wonderful activities/experiences that are on offer ( at no extra charge ). If - like us - you are in your 60s or older, stay a 4th night so you can enjoy more rest/reflection time at this most magnificent venue .

This is a must if you want to say near Ayers Rock. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and the staff were all so accommodating and just fun to be around. The excursions were exciting but the food here is something you will also never forget!

We stayed at Longitude 131 for 3 nights. Everything was just perfect here. From the personal welcome, the wonderful accommodation in the luxury tent to the fantastic food, the lovely excursions and the very friendly and helpful staff and expert guides. We felt in good hands at every moment. Our highlights? Sleeping in the swag on the terrace, walking around Uluru, dinner under the stars, sunset drinks in the Dune Top bar and a helicopter flight over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Thank you for the perfect stay.
