Rooms were clean. Smelled clean. Nice quiet little motel. Easy booking thru trip.com. We will stay again when we pass thru in the future...

Was making our way back to Oregon and chose the Klamath Motor Lodge as our halfway point. Our stay, while just one night, was very enjoyable. The front desk staff were friendly and informative. The room was clean and clearly sanitized. The heater worked well. When we requested an additional blanket the staff quickly brought us two. The breakfast was a simple continental fare, but the hard boiled eggs were fresh and the frozen waffles were delicious after being toasted. I loved the individual servings of peanut butter. Absolutely no complaints.

Excellent! I am a female traveling solo with my large do and this photo is perfect for me and my needs. Property is well cared for, well lit, feels safe has a nice size area for your dogs to relieve themselves. Area is grassy and CLEAN + they have poop bags and waste disposal bin. They have pet designated rooms that DON’T have carpets. (Pet designated rooms with carpet are perplexing to me. I have a very well behaved, very well trained one year old dog who has only seen carpet a few times. So, old carpet that has been repeatedly soiled and then cleaned – why tempt fate?) The business owner was welcoming and warm, and did insure that I understood that my dog cannot relieve himself on the flowers and plants in the non-pet designated areas. Folks, I want to echo that, and ask that all of you pet owners out there please be thoughtful and responsible— the more of us there are, then the easier it is for a businesses like this to welcome us :) Also, the shower was hot, the beds were comfortable, the pillows were comfortable, black out curtains worked perfectly, and there were enough outlet so that I can charge all five of my work devices. Also, the lodge is independently, owned. To the owners: thank you for putting up with us pet-toting customers and tolerating those of us that are not the most thoughtful.

Nicely maintained, comfortable place to get a good night's sleep. The bed is the best of all the 14 on this trip. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. There is a pool. Park by your door. There was even hard boiled eggs and yogurt for breakfast along with the coffee. Restaurants are close by. I'd stay again.

This is, without doubt, my favorite place to Stay in California. It's simple and low-budget, but the rooms are always spotless and well-appointed. The wireless is fast, and I've never had a single problem in over 10 years of staying here every year. Beds are comfy and you get two different grades of pillow, just like fancier places. Housekeeping are efficient and done early in the day if you're staying a while. There are always plenty of spaces to park, even when it's full. It also doesn't look like they take long-term residents, so you don't have to worry about the usual sketchy denizens of budget motels. Despite being located close to the main street and not too far from the interstate, it's quiet both inside and outside the rooms. I have to highlight breakfast, as while it's the usual simple muffins, toast, and cereal, and you have to take it back to your room, the coffee is excellent (a really welcome change), and they actually have Marmalade available to go with your toast or muffins. At this point, I think I've stayed in the Klamath Motor Lodge for around 50 nights since 2014, and will continue to book this every time I'm in town. During that time the management appears to have passed to the previous owner's son, but he has maintained the standards and is possibly even nicer to deal with on the counter. TVs have also been replaced a couple of times in those 10 years, so this is not a place where you encounter old broken down stuff.

I enjoyed my solo stay at the Klamath Motor Lodge. I was worried that I would feel unsafe traveling alone as an older woman, however, I felt very safe here. The property (and room) is very clean, the heater worked well to keep me comfortable, as it was below freezing overnight. There was a nice sized refrigerator and the bed was very comfortable. I did use the microwave to heat up dinner. The price of the room was very reasonable. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Disapointed in this budget friendlly motel. First I got an upstairs room which was a mistake. Surrounded by workers that all sat outside my door. The room had a smell, not too overwhelming, but not great. The room was very worn, carpets looked dirty, but may be just worn. The checkin was not good, I was supposed to get AAA rate, but did not, checkin person told me I was getting the online rate. She also had no idea of any places to watch the baseball playoffs. Jefferson Roadhouse was excellent and just next door and served my purposes, see that review. I would not bring my wife here, nor would I opt to stay in Yreka next time. Make sure you support the State of Jefferson....

Initially we stayed one night during a long road trip, then spent another night on the return trip. Dog friendly budget option turned out to be surprisingly safe location to walk the dog around the block after dark. Dog area was small, very grassy, no visible poop and bags were available. Room and bath were dated and worn. A/C was quite loud in the room and had a weird control system. Typical continental breakfast offerings - yogurt, oranges not apples or bananas schwew, and pastries in plastic. Pretty much what we expected for this price point when traveling with a dog. But again, happy that the location seemed safer.
