It's really great! I knew before booking that the hotel was run by a Chinese owner, but after arriving, I was able to communicate with my mother tongue about the journey. This feeling is really wonderful. The owner is still an alumnus! We arrived earlier than the check-in time and wanted to put down our luggage first, but the room was already cleaned, so we were arranged to check in early! Then the owner was very patient to draw a map and recommend tourist spots and restaurants. After checking in, I found that although this hotel is not a traditional luxury hotel, I can feel the intention of the operator. For example, the noise reduction and sound insulation of the entire hotel are very good, just like the iron frame stairs at the back door, which is very considerately covered with plastic mats to greatly reduce the noise of the iron stairs. There is basically no creaking sound of the traditional British house floor when walking in the room, so there is no need to worry about affecting the guests downstairs. There is a small path from the train station parking lot that can pass through the hotel. It takes 5-6 minutes to walk quickly without luggage. It takes about 8-10 minutes to drag large luggage. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel that takes you directly to the cathedral. I hope I can return to York and stay here again if I have the chance.

The house is comfortable, close to the train station, not noisy, and convenient for travel. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The house is not too small. The shower-type water outlet is an ancient device, so if you don't want to get your hair wet, you must take a shower. Shower cap, and the store has breakfast, the price is reasonable, there are many varieties, and the food is fresh, it is a good choice.

This is a B&B run by a Chengdu native. It is easier to communicate. They specially cooked white porridge and served pickled mustard for breakfast. It was delicious for a Chinese stomach that had been eating British food for three weeks.
