The journey to York went through the following steps
Train cancellation—Raining🌧️Bitter wind and rain without an umbrella—Hotel front desk off work—Find the back door of the hotel parking lot—Climbed to the 4th floor with the suitcase—Smell-good toiletries that really healed❤️🩹—Soft bed🛏️The next morning—Another beautiful day
Ctrip’s customer service staff was very👍responsible. If it weren’t for the customer service guy who kept trying to communicate and find a solution, I would have had to find another hotel on the day.

A hotel worth staying at. The English breakfast was good. Good value for money. Remember to include breakfast when booking. Breakfast costs 10 pounds per person.

Beds a little uncomfortable need replaced . Very friendly staff welcoming and friendly. Breakfast very good great choice . Very clean bedding and modern bathroom . Only downside was bed . On but route to York but could walk if able . Map given up n arrival to this helped a lot

I stayed at this hotel 9-10/9 for one night. The location is fantastic and the chap at reception was friendly and welcoming. However, the room we were given was disappointing, small and the bed was very uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in my back which made the night sleep very unpleasant. The room was too small for a couple. The bathroom was average, had no hand gel. The pictures advertised on the website are not true to what the rooms are. Very disappointed and pissed off with the room and the amount I paid. Would not recommend, don't waste your money.
