It's also conveniently located near the bus station, making it easy to visit places like Sayram Lake. The hotel kindly arranged a pick-up from the train station upon our arrival, which was very helpful. While there was no drop-off service available for our early departure, we understood that the shuttle service only starts operating from 9:00 a.m. Overall, it's a great place to stay, especially for travelers who value convenience and accessibility. Highly recommended!"

"Our stay at Yining Yili Hotel was fantastic! The hotel, formerly a Russian consulate, boasts towering ancient trees and a tranquil lake, creating a natural oxygen bar. Strolling along the 1.3 km boardwalk, we even spotted little squirrels, which was incredibly soothing. We booked a multi-room suite in Building 6, which was spacious and comfortable – perfect for a family trip. The biggest surprise was finding a "Gulandam" ice cream shop right in the courtyard, letting us completely avoid the long queues at Liuxing Street! The staff were warm and friendly, and check-in was very efficient. Breakfast offered not only a Chinese buffet but also Kazakh specialty dishes. The hotel's location is superb, just a 10-minute walk to the Kazanqi Folk Tourism Area, and parking for self-drivers is also very convenient. Highly recommend!"

"Yili Hotel is actually a formal reception venue primarily for business travelers and official guests. It's only open to regular tourists when there are no special events. The hotel has its own garden, and you can drive in directly without parking fees. Only at night will the gatekeeper need to confirm your entry. There are plenty of parking spaces inside. While it faces the common issue of hotels having aging facilities, Building 3, where our standard room was located, is generally quite new and appears to have been recently renovated. The breakfast area and suites are in the tall Building 2. The gym is in Building 6, with only a few treadmills and no dumbbells or other strength training equipment. Given the small space, that's probably all they could fit. There's also a supermarket, souvenir shop, and laundry room nearby. Breakfast offers a wide variety, though it wasn't entirely to my taste, and I don't recall seeing coffee. However, for tourists visiting Xinjiang, the exotic offerings are more than enough. The price for a standard room is only slightly higher than an all-season hotel in Yining, but the decor and amenities are significantly better. Overall, accommodation in Yining isn't cheap. My mother, who is in her sixties, was very happy staying here. She felt Yili Hotel was the best place she'd stayed in for days (though I personally prefer more modern and light-luxury style hotels)."

"This beautiful Uyghur courtyard perfectly fulfilled all my expectations for a grape arbor, a cool tatami resting area, and the 'Yili blue' aesthetic. The courtyard is located right in Six-Star Street, making it part of the scenery itself, with a great location and convenient parking. Chatting with the owner (the guesthouse proprietor), I learned about the romantic story behind the city's signature blue. My daughter even said this was her favorite part of our Xinjiang trip. The breakfast was also very unique, and our whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. The courtyard, rooms, and bedding were all very clean. Looking forward to our next visit!"
