We stayed on the 9th floor of Fendoc Castle and the kids had a blast! You can drive toy cars in the hallway, and just around the corner is a kids' play area with unlimited movies and afternoon tea.
The hotel also has a spa and pool on the 6th floor, a reading room and kids' playroom on the 7th floor, and an outdoor playground in the courtyard on the 8th floor, complete with a dedicated kids' cinema. Floors 1-4 are the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Plaza, where you can shop and watch movies (the hotel front desk can even reserve your seats for unlimited viewing). The breakfast spread was also diverse and delicious.
Overall, it's truly an incredibly family-friendly hotel! 😆

Our stay was absolutely wonderful—truly beyond expectations! Every little detail kept surprising us in the best way. The level of care and thoughtfulness throughout the hotel really stood out.
The room amenities were exceptional, from the Dyson hair dryer to the luxurious L’Occitane products throughout. They even provided a cute little bag for us to take everything home, which was such a thoughtful touch!
What made the experience even more special was the incredible team. Every staff member, from reception to the cleaning team and activity hosts, was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel so welcome and well taken care of.
There were also countless activities for children, which made it perfect for families, while still offering great options for parents to relax and enjoy themselves too.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return again!

Excellent place for kids with the cars. There's just a lack of f&b nearby given it's location in a smaller city. But the rest of the stay was amazing - buffet spread was great!

When I booked online, I didn't realize I needed to book a themed room to get my own dedicated car. The themed rooms are on the 8th and 9th floors (I think the 10th floor too). So, I had to go to the 8th floor myself to pick up a car to play with, but there's a good side to that: the themed room floors can be quite noisy because everyone is constantly driving around on that floor (especially the 8th floor). The breakfast had a wide selection, and the staff were super nice. Below the 4th floor are shops and a supermarket. The hotel also has racing games, a cinema, and a variety of TV channels. Both my 8-year-old and teenager enjoyed it. The only thing is that it's a bit old, but still okay, at least it felt clean. The hairdryer was even a Dyson!

Almost perfect, except for the price! The room was super clean, and my kids absolutely loved it. Being able to drive the car right into the room was a huge plus, and all the amenities were top-notch. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. I actually came to Taiwan just for this hotel, and it definitely didn't disappoint! My only regret is that we only stayed for 3 days and 2 nights; I wish I had booked our entire trip here.
