I am very satisfied with this stay. We are traveling by car and have our own parking space. It is not far from Hongcun and Xidi. The hotel environment is very good and has its own unique sense of high-end design, with the design of Huizhou architecture. The service of the hotel itself is enthusiastic, proactive, efficient and thoughtful. The rooms are quiet, bright and comfortable. It is worth recommending! !

Facilities: The hotel is in a good location, a few hundred meters from the Hongcun Scenic Area, which can be reached on foot. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is very convenient. The overall facilities are fully equipped, bathtub, bathrobes, local tea, etc. Environment: Garden-style hotel, quiet and elegant, flower and bird fish pond mountain view lake view village with a panoramic view, visual experience can be said to be great. Hygiene: I thought that this kind of hotel environment close to nature would encounter mosquitoes, but my worry was superfluous. The hotel's hygiene was very good and the mosquitoes were very meticulous. Service: There is a butler contact to add WeChat before check-in. Any needs can be communicated in advance. The butler service is very intimate. Before leaving, I also sent a small gift of local specialties. 1 hour of outdoor open-air bamboo forest public soup spring for two: It is a pity that the Tangquan time is over late. Have the opportunity to experience it next time. In-store travel photography: The photographer sister is very patient and teaches me to move. It is a pleasant shooting experience. Two tickets for Qiyun Mountain Scenic Area: Qiyun Mountain is a Taoist holy place. Taoist viewing is required to sign to see the mountain view. It takes 40 minutes to drive, and the itinerary is tight and I didn't go.

The hotel is very close to Hongcun and Pingshan, and not far from the town. You can go out to eat local dishes at night. I am not used to staying in private B&Bs, and I think it is good to see this kind of regular star hotel with a good environment. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good and not perfunctory. There are no shopping malls in the whole Yi County.

This was a trip that I took my 86 years old mom to travel with me. After a long bullet train ride and shuttle ride, Banyan Tree Huangshan gave us a warm welcome by upgrading our room to a villa. The place is beautifully designed, nested in a valley with traditional Hui style building. Inside the rooms, they have the western style bedroom and bathroom comforts, but the deco is traditional Chinese arts with a modern twist, very elegant, not the tacky hotel chain style but details that fits the surrounding nature beauty. All the rooms and facilities are very clean, and service people are very nice too. We had the front desk clerk Sweet, who updated our stay and a room cleaning lady May Zhang who helped us with our needs. Very thankful to their help! The outside garden design blends in with the surrounding mountains. They even have a petting zoo for visitors young and old. We dined in their Chinese restaurant the first night. The foods were good but I won't say exceptional. For two of us, it was way too much in food quantity for one order. We felt bad to waste food this way. Wish they have had smaller choices. But their breakfast is very impressive. And even though they are very close to Hong Village where the shuttle stops, they did not offer free shuttle which I think they should. Because you need to stay in Hongcun, I booked this one on Trip.com. The facilities are very new and the sanitary conditions are very good. It is very convenient to drive to the scenic spot for ten minutes. The hotel staff are very warm and enthusiastic. There are many shops around the hotel and shopping is convenient, but it is quiet at night. Very good value for money, very satisfied.

The room is relatively spacious. It is booked to Xidi Hongcun. It is very close to Xidi Village. It takes more than ten minutes to drive. It is 6 or 7 kilometers away. It is a little far from Hongcun. It is triangular. The hotel is more formal to watch movies. The hall is large and the room decoration is old. Breakfast has fruit, pickles, a few vegetarian stir-fried vegetables, a small box of yogurt, soy milk, rice porridge, and the price of 20 yuan is matched, children 10 yuan per person

Hongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

The ancients said that it is better to eat without meat than to live without bamboo. I really love the bamboo here. The B&B is 1 km outside Hongcun, with free parking. It is also very quiet, and it is very convenient to walk to the scenic spots. The front desk service is very good. They specially upgraded the room type for four of us for free, and also have a private butler to provide attentive service. Although the breakfast is not very varied, it is clean and hygienic and tastes good. The shredded potatoes are so good that you can eat them till you’re full. I was given a souvenir when I left the hotel, and in the evening I received a thoughtful greeting from the hotel about whether I had reached my next destination safely, which made my heart warm. Next time I come, I will stay here.

We had a lovely stay at Pig’s Inn - it was sadly just for one night but we really enjoyed it! The staff were very kind and went to a lot of effort to cook for us, even though we were the only guests. Breakfast was especially great. The hot water was not really ‘hot hot’ - just tepid, but the staff did everything they could to fix it. The drains from the bathroom smelt pretty bad - but otherwise the bedroom was really comfortable and everything was very clean. The hotel organised a taxi for 200 Y from Huangshan North Railway, which was great. We then used Didi to order taxis and get to Xidi village and Huangshan mountain, which is great if you don’t speak the language. Thank you for having us!
