Recently returned from a 2 week stay at the Aliathon Resort and I have to say, we really love this place. We came to Aliathon in September 2023 and stayed in the Fishing Village, but on this visit we wanted a more modern room so we opted for the Ionian Premium rooms. FOOD - We are fairly fussy eaters but I must say, this is probably the best food I've had at a European all inclusive. Loads of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner also had a good choice and they did rotate the menu to mix things up a bit. The Pantheon restaurant has a really nice atmosphere when you sit outside. We managed to book into the à la carte Mexican Restaurant a couple of times without any issue using the QR code. All in all a firm 8/10 for the food. STAFF - It's the staff that make this place, they really are fantastic. All the staff work so hard but are so friendly and attentive. They all went out of their way to say hello and fuss over our 3 year old. The staff really couldn't do enough for you, they are superb. Even the managers are visible throughout the day and getting stuck in. The HV team were great as well. Just a few of the staff who deserve a shout out: Rafaelia at the Ionian swim up bar. My 3 year old fell in love with Rafaelia and would strut up to the bar to see her, and order his Orange juice with ice and a straw. She was fantastic with him. Vinni at the Aegean swim up bar. Really friendly and was great with our boy. Elena G, at the breakfast restaurant. Always so friendly and made a fuss of our boy. Elena the manager, was really attentive when we had an issue with the guests in the room next to ours. Yannis. He is the operations manager but spends the day buzzing about making sure everyone is ok. So friendly. And when we had to move rooms, he was so helpful and attentive. Molly and Grace from the HV Swim Academy team. They were great, and my lad loved his 5 swimming lessons. 10/10 for the staff. RESORT - This is a great resort, plenty of pools, never any issue getting a sun bed, all the grounds are well kept and tidy. It's just a genuinely nice place to come on holiday. Plenty for the youngsters to do and I was pretty impressed with the HV entertainment for both the kids and the adults. We walked to the harbour a couple of times, takes maybe 30 mins. There is the Aliathon Plaza just outside the hotel which has a pub and some restaurants and a shop, you get a discount in the pub and restaurants as an Aliathon guest. There is a nice restaurant called Fiesta just up the road which we visited a couple of times as well. Oh and make sure you visit the shop 'Jumbo'. It's mental, imagine Temu had an actual shop, this would be it. ROOMS - So we were booked into the Ionian Premium rooms, really modern and comfortable. We faced the entertainment area so there was a bit of noise but nothing to cause any issue. HOWEVER, unfortunately we had the family from hell in the room next to us. They were out on their balcony until 2.30AM or 4.30AM making
