'From my deep heart'. What do you feel when you hear these words?... Who do you think of? ... It is still hard to believe, for me. I think of the persons of the Aliothon Ionian. They are incredible heartwarming persons. They cared for me, for my wellbeing, for my happiness. Yes, you can believe it. Or don't. They go way beyond what you expect from hotel staff. And, they do it from their heart. You can feel that. They don't judge. That was very relieving. At this point I thank everyone. Who is addressed knows it. And, yes, you too Yanis. I explicitly say your name. You spread the underlying light, balancing atmosphere. Melina. Wow. Sherlock Holmes. ;) Sunil, you know everything, even more than the manager. And also Yoga. Elena, always a smile, very professional and goes the extra way, literally. Tony, honest talks, understanding and appreciating. The lady from the Italian, you have an open soul for everyone, you make everything happen. Especially in crisis. The man from the reception, very nice recommendations about how to get a shirt. ;) Of course all others I have met and whose names I don't have. You all made my stay in Cyprus an exceptional time. Thank you from my deep heart. ♥️

Aliathon Resort in Paphos offers an exceptional stay for anyone seeking a blend of relaxation, luxury, and genuine Cypriot hospitality. Set in a beautiful location, the resort is ideal for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. We stayed in the Village area, where the rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. While the décor has a slightly older charm, the rooms are equipped with a kitchen and the necessary tools for light cooking, making them perfect for a convenient and cozy stay. Many rooms provide beautiful views of the pool or the lush gardens, adding to the resort's serene atmosphere. A special mention goes to Kostis and Kostas at Reception for their outstanding assistance and helpfulness. They went above and beyond to ensure our requests were met, making our stay even more pleasant and stress-free. Aliathon Resort combines comfort, attentive service, and a great location, making it a fantastic choice for a memorable holiday in Paphos. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Ionian roadside rooms. I requested this by email before we went and the reception staff replied the same day and said they would do their best. The room was lovely, clean and roadside was definitely the best option for our family. Although you don’t get the sun all day, the benefit of not having loads of people swimming right up to your room was fantastic. I’d recommend taking a version of the Stanley cups. It meant we could go and get long drinks keep them cold and not have to keep returning to the bar. The food was average and the alcoholic drinks were about palatable but we only stayed for a week so it was fine. We did witness the police arriving to discuss with one wedding party theft from a locked room where all the valuables had been held. We also overheard another bridal party the following day saying they had experienced a similar incident where valuables and wedding gifts had been left after the wedding whilst the wedding party happened and numerous things have been stolen from a locked room and apparently the hotel have no CCTV. I believe the hotel manager was not helpful to either bride and he did have a blackeye the following day. Just be extra cautious.

I will try my absolute best to keep this short but overall we weren't as impressed as others have been and I think the biggest let down for us were other inconsiderate families. Naturally the hotel cannot be blamed for this and we understand that it's just luck as you can get crappy customers anywhere. I wanna end it on a positive so gonna start with my cons list - we arrived around 2pm and while we appreciated that the staff wanted to make sure we got some lunch so they rushed to check us in we would've appreciated if the welcome envelope at least had a map of the hotel or we were given instructions as to where dinner was served & how to get there. When we raised this we were told the TUI reps prefer to give the low down of the resort and while I understand and appreciate that I did feedback to the hotel manager and TUI reps that for people arriving after 10am they should consider giving them this info. Dinner was in the pantheon and breakfast & lunch in the Ionian (which is where we were staying) - the safe was payable which was odd for a 4* but they do advertise it as payable and I messed up when booking because I must've not paid attention/missed that part - the room amenities do not include shampoo and conditioner which I thought was absurd for a 4*. I've genuinely never stayed at a 4* or 5* all inclusive and had only shower gel. We had to actually go to the King's Ave mall and get some shampoo and conditioner (I have psoriasis so finding something SLS & Paraben free was a pain in the back side) - the soap dispenser in the shower was covered in black mould on the inside and I was fuming when I saw this as that is just not on for any rating. We spoke to our TUI rep, Sophie, and she introduced us to the manager Yiannis. I cannot say enough good things about either of them, they're exceptional at what they do. Yiannis came up with us to have a look and was able to let us know that the parts, where we could see black mould, was a part of the dispenser the cleaning staff couldn't get to. He was adamant we go to the plaza shop and get some shower gel that the hotel would reimburse as I'm immunocompromised and also explained that they're in the middle of rectifying the issue by replacing the dispensers. He explained they'd been changed in the Fishing Village but not yet been changed in the Ionian. I did also mention the shampoo and conditioner to him and he explained that this was also something they'd be adding with the new dispensers so essentially they're going to have 3 dispensers in the bathroom 1 for shower gel, 1 for shampoo & 1 for conditioner. - the minibar in the room only had a bottle of water on arrival which again was so weird and eerily empty for a 4*. We were provided with a small plate of fruits and a bottle of sparkling wine & welcome letter as we were there to celebrate our anniversary however the bottle of water was for the 1st night only and there were 0 soft drinks (fizzy or juice) luckily because we were in the Ionian i

Recently returned from a 2 week stay at the Aliathon Resort and I have to say, we really love this place. We came to Aliathon in September 2023 and stayed in the Fishing Village, but on this visit we wanted a more modern room so we opted for the Ionian Premium rooms. FOOD - We are fairly fussy eaters but I must say, this is probably the best food I've had at a European all inclusive. Loads of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner also had a good choice and they did rotate the menu to mix things up a bit. The Pantheon restaurant has a really nice atmosphere when you sit outside. We managed to book into the à la carte Mexican Restaurant a couple of times without any issue using the QR code. All in all a firm 8/10 for the food. STAFF - It's the staff that make this place, they really are fantastic. All the staff work so hard but are so friendly and attentive. They all went out of their way to say hello and fuss over our 3 year old. The staff really couldn't do enough for you, they are superb. Even the managers are visible throughout the day and getting stuck in. The HV team were great as well. Just a few of the staff who deserve a shout out: Rafaelia at the Ionian swim up bar. My 3 year old fell in love with Rafaelia and would strut up to the bar to see her, and order his Orange juice with ice and a straw. She was fantastic with him. Vinni at the Aegean swim up bar. Really friendly and was great with our boy. Elena G, at the breakfast restaurant. Always so friendly and made a fuss of our boy. Elena the manager, was really attentive when we had an issue with the guests in the room next to ours. Yannis. He is the operations manager but spends the day buzzing about making sure everyone is ok. So friendly. And when we had to move rooms, he was so helpful and attentive. Molly and Grace from the HV Swim Academy team. They were great, and my lad loved his 5 swimming lessons. 10/10 for the staff. RESORT - This is a great resort, plenty of pools, never any issue getting a sun bed, all the grounds are well kept and tidy. It's just a genuinely nice place to come on holiday. Plenty for the youngsters to do and I was pretty impressed with the HV entertainment for both the kids and the adults. We walked to the harbour a couple of times, takes maybe 30 mins. There is the Aliathon Plaza just outside the hotel which has a pub and some restaurants and a shop, you get a discount in the pub and restaurants as an Aliathon guest. There is a nice restaurant called Fiesta just up the road which we visited a couple of times as well. Oh and make sure you visit the shop 'Jumbo'. It's mental, imagine Temu had an actual shop, this would be it. ROOMS - So we were booked into the Ionian Premium rooms, really modern and comfortable. We faced the entertainment area so there was a bit of noise but nothing to cause any issue. HOWEVER, unfortunately we had the family from hell in the room next to us. They were out on their balcony until 2.30AM or 4.30AM making

Had 10 days at Aliathon Resort, our third time and it just gets better. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and the senior manager is extremely professional and helpful, but also accommodating when spoken with. Can't fault this resort, accommodation is spacious and clean, food selection is second to none. They cater for everyone. We love the cats on the resort, very friendly and it just adds that specialty to the holiday. 28 degrees so weather was just great. With access to the pool, which I have to say is kept immaculate by the pool guy. Overall great family destination and look forward to going back. Thank you all at Aliathon.

The resort is well maintained and relatively clean. The toilet facilities could do with updating but do the job required. The staff are very friendly at the bars, restaurants and snack bars, a good choice of food, snacks and ice creams so you don't get bored eating the same things. The rooms are basic but clean with all the necessary requirements, fridge, microwave, kettle, clean towels and friendly maids who clean and make the beds every day. The entertainment was exceptional. Both daytime at the pool and evening. My children are older so we didn't use the young pool and facilities but they have activities going all day for all ages including football, swimming lessons, high ropes, pool parties, bingo, quizes for all ages and inflatable fun times, in pool exercise classes to work off some food and general entertainment all day and evening. We want to praise Gemma, Saskia, Adam, Bia, Harris, Katie, and Molly for the amazing memories made and laughs along the way. Team Southampton will remember you all forever for the amazing holiday you gave us.

Our second time returning to the Aliathon Resort and it still exceeds expectations for a fabulous family holiday. There were 9 of us in our party as we returned with my mum, dad, nan and brother as well as our children. We arrived on a late flight and the hotel puts a small buffet on for guests that have just arrived. The room we had was cleaned daily by housekeeping, clean towels replenished and a perfect size for the five of us. In terms of the food - I’d challenge anyone who says they couldn’t find something they liked. The food is varied, delicious and i loved the themed evenings. We didn’t book in to the restaurant’s this time and we were still spoilt for choice. The staff are all friendly, attentive and work extremely hard. Jannis makes sure he is visible to guests throughout the resort and gave us thanks and a hug on departure for returning. As much as this is great for customer relations, it does make it feel like a family resort through and through. The entertainments team work tirelessly for kids and adults alike. The giant cluedo game which I didn’t think would be my cup of tea originally, was well thought out, fun for all and the staff got really invested! We loved it! The activities for the kids are non stop. We could only book the boys in for footy twice as opposed to the full week last October half term. We were really saddened to hear of Trevor Bailey’s passing. As much as the football academy staff did their best, once you’ve been part of Trevor’s training regime, it’s really difficult to compare. There was something really special about Trevor, his standards, his expectations, what he got out of the kids at the camp and it highlighted how much of an impact one person can have on a business/experience. If I had one suggestion, it would be for the football academy to get in touch with someone that knew Trevor’s style, training drills etc you can’t replace the man but you might be able to replicate his high standards and drills and his ethos that “I’m not babysitting with a ball!” We would certainly recommend Aliathon. We hope to return again in the future and thank the staff for another wonderful stay
