Jessica at the reception was really kind and helpful for any question we had during the three days we spent there, she spoke a good English and helped us book our activities. The hotel location is also perfect, close to the river with beautiful landscape but also close to the city center and all the restaurants. The room was super clean and wide enough for the three of us. Breakfast was delicious with great variety of food including Guilin rice noodles. The rooftop is amazing and the free afternoon tea is very enjoyable there. We even had a little gift upon checking out. Thank you Xitang River View Hotel! A tip : wake up for sunrise on the rooftop!! They even helped me book attraction tickets at a slight discount compared to buying them at the gate, and electric scooters are available for rent, which is very convenient for getting around."

"The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning! I was a little hesitant to stay at this new hotel when I told my friends, but after arriving, I know I made the right choice! Hehe. As soon as we entered the room, we exclaimed, "This hotel has such a great vibe!" The front desk and room service staff were very polite, and the room was spotless. The room has a Xiaomi smart room control system, but Xiao Ai (Xiaomi's AI assistant) is a little slow to respond 😳, haha, but it doesn't bother us! It's worth mentioning that the hotel rooftop is incredibly photogenic; even with my typical straight-man perspective, I could easily take great pictures 😃. Although the hotel is newly opened, there's absolutely no unpleasant smell."
