Lacustre Yamanakako

Although it is located on the shore of Lake Yamanaka, the entrance from the road may be a little difficult to find. There is a parking space beside the inn. When you enter the entrance of the inn, there is a shoe rack where you take off your shoes and put them in the shoe rack, but there are disposable slippers there, so I put them on without permission, and when I went inside, the front desk said, ``The staff is in the kitchen, so I'll call out to you.'' There's a sign saying, "Please..." It's a family run business with 6 rooms in total, so it feels like a pension. Great location with a view of Mt. Fuji from every room! The room was spacious (10 tatami mats) and was well kept and clean. The only heating was air conditioning, but it was warm. There are two baths, each family can use them privately if they are available. Although it is not a hot spring, the bathtub was large. The great thing about this inn is that even if you stay on a Saturday, it's less than 10,000 yen per person, including one night and two meals! And the dinner was amazing! hey hey! Beef fillet steak at this price! It's also soft and delicious! I wonder if management is okay? That's what I thought (lol).However, there is a toilet with a washing machine in the room, but there is no refrigerator, so you will have to use the shared refrigerator in the hallway. We definitely recommend this inn if you are sightseeing around Fuji Five Lakes and Oshino Hakkai.
