1. Check-in was very fast, it only took 15 minutes to find the check-in front desk. If you are staying at this hotel, drive outside and only see the entrance of the restaurant when you come in. Go in from the restaurant and ask the waiter and they will direct you to the front desk! 2. The facilities are not the latest but they are very stylish. The corridor before entering the room is beautifully decorated, and the room is also very unique and clean. The restaurant downstairs does not disturb the accommodation area at all. The hot water is great. There is a heater. 3. Breakfast is provided, you must eat it, it is very delicious! It can be eaten for lunch, it tastes better than many outside restaurants🥹🥹 4. The environment is great, and you can ask the store in advance when there will be activities. We only passed by for one night, and when we left, we found out that there was a music festival the night before🥹🥹 It is a store that includes food, accommodation and entertainment. I will definitely do it next time I have the opportunity. Would go again!

I gave this restaurant a 5 star rating a few years ago on Tripadvisor but its standards have fizzled since then evidently. Very ordinary pub food. I ordered off the vegetarian main meal menu….something titled Radicchio …thinking I was getting a nice salad with various accoutrements. All it was, was a plate of lettuce with slivers of tinned beetroot and a smattering of shaved cheese…… for $25. Thats it, nothing else. If I WAS actually a vegetarian I’d be very cheesed off. Luckily I shared my husband’s meal at his insistence. Notice to non vegetarian chefs…..vegetarians do not subsist on plates of lettuce. BTW, the young chef who took my complaint was lovely, very polite and they did refund the cost of the meal. So thats something. This is a beautiful old world pub restaurant…please return to the quality of yesteryear!

My memories of what this pub offered in past visits have been wiped out by the extraordinarily dismal effort presented to us as 'lunch' on the last weekend of September. If we hadn't already ordered when I saw a few plates come out, we would have stuck with a beer and moved on. The cheeseburgers, the parmi, F&C...all cold, overcooked, pretty inedible. To my surprise the squid was cooked well but the presentation was unexpected. We all know squid comes in so many ways but this was a whole squid hood with a good flavour, just off-putting in delivery with octopus that was tough. I will not be in any hurry to go back to the pub with this menu...or these cooks. Not to mention the Aussie guys who were waiting on the tables, very poor effort and not there to help the patrons at all.

Caves House Restaurant was very disappointing- waited over an hour on a Tuesday night (not busy) to watch two tables beside us get served first. Very expensive meal (a bartered fish beside a handful of chips) $35 and tasted average. Menu was really unappealing- one of the ingredients was ‘yesterday’s bread’ ……so sad. A great venue with lots of potential but a waste of money and an evening

In past t evenings out for dinner he food was lovely but recently we went for dinner with friends and we were all disgusted with not only the menu but the quality of the food was absolutely disgusting. It was that bad that we asked to have a word with the manager. The manager refused to discuss and then the waitress came out and was abusive and rude. Never again will we even bother with Caves House, we now choose to take out money elsewhere as there are many other alternatives within the region.

This is a strange place that doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. It has art deco features inside but mismatched furniture. There's a bar with betting stations, a lounge crammed full of leather sofas and occasional live music. Then there's the restaurant with pretentions of upmarket dining but where the menus are laminated and you have to queue for ten minutes at the bar hatch to order your food. It's just a mess. The owners seem to be content to let it drift along as it is given that it seems popular while failing to capitalise on its potential. We arrived and due to the lack of signage had to ask two different members of staff how to get to reception which involved walking across a packed terrace where loud, live music was playing. Having checked in we went upstairs to our room in the main house. The amount of toiletries provided is measly so I had to go to reception and ask for more shower gel (only one small bottle supplied between two adults). The ceilings in both the bedroom and bathroom are have discoloured areas where it looks as if cracks have been previously filled but not painted over. Other areas are cracked and peeling. The plastic veneer on the wardrobe was peeling away. A sharp item sticking out of the carpet snagged and ripped a brand new pair of socks which were only then fit for the bin. The TV remote didn't work, back to reception for new batteries. All the doors have drafts pouring round the edges - we used cushions as makeshift draft excluders although thankfully a heater and electric blankets are provided to take the edge off the chill. There were a number of bugs crawling around the bathroom floor near the drain. We couldn't enjoy the balcony due to the cacophony of noise from the children screaming around the grounds. I appreciate some of these are beyond the hotel's control but most are not. So, less than perfect and that was all within the first few hours. I have to say that the room was not up to the standard I was expecting and not worth the money we paid. Breakfast was fine, a reasonable selection of hot and cold items and the obligatory conveyor belt toaster that doesn't toast properly - not sure I've used one anywhere in the world that does what it's supposed to. One irritation was that if you wanted anything than a generic coffee you were charged for it. Really? I'm paying how much for my room but that doesn't entitle me to a few cents worth of ground beans with hot water pushed through them? We went for dinner one evening only to find both our first choice main courses were unavailable. What we ended up having was okay but no better. It will come as little surprise to hear than I wouldn't stay here again. It seems a popular place and they seem to be expanding further so I guess they feel that there's enough trade for them to get away with all of the above. The gent on reception (French sounding, didn't get his name) was the biggest plus point. He worked his socks off the entire time and always did his

I don't like to bag our local pub and never have, but last nights experience was something else. We expected it to be busy as it was a long weekend, but it was pleasantly buzzing. The menu is very limited, almost all the great pub options were gone. We waited for 1hr 20mins to receive our meals that were stone cold and had obviously been sitting on the pass for at least 20 minutes. The burger had a sauce tipped over it..why????? The Nashville Chicken came on a miniscule plate and was very hard to eat without making a huge mess. The fish and chips were ok apart from being cold. BUT no little side salad. We witnessed other nearby diners sending food back to the kitchen or receiving refunds. A venue like this should be all prepped and ready to go on a long weekend. This was definately not the case. Our waitress said that the kitchen was being slammed.... of course they are and not an excuse for sub standard meals to be sent out. As much as we love Caves House, it will be awhile before we return.

A lovely property with beautiful heritage features in an excellent location for exploring the area. We had a king room with a shared balcony. The room itself was a bit odd with separate facilities for toilet/hand basin and another room for spa bath rain shower, which only had a glass door and no privacy. It was also a massive climb into the tub to use the shower. An electric blanket was welcome but no mattress topper meant we were sleeping on wires all night. TV only has basics with almost everything requiring foxtel payment. Unless you wanted to open the community balcony door there were no windows to open for ventilation. And, Charming staff - NOT - who checked us out and could not even be bothered to ask if we had had a nice stay!

Stayed for 3 nights the room was quiet nice but the bed was too hard to sleep on my wife slept on the lounge the first night then we brought a mattress topper from Kmart Busselton . We didn’t worry about breakfast at hotel as it was $35 dollars per head
