Comfortable enough place. The staff are friendly even with a language barrier, and accommodating to your needs. The rooms are basic, but have good ventilation from being high up and easy to walk to many restaurants and shops nearby. Some of the other guests were loud every night when I was there and there wasn't anything done about it, they were screaming late into the night multiple nights. But I guess this is part of staying in a "hostel".

Its a great place to stay. I was traveling from xining to Beijing by train. The stay over time was more than 20 hours so I booked this hotel its near to train station and I slept there very peacefully and i did enjoy this place and hotel. Staff was very friendly and humble

Really cosy interior and great for solo travellers seeing as you can book tours to the nearby Qinghai lake and Chaka salt lake.
However, I did have an issue with the lock on my door upon arrival which was speedily sorted out.

Accompanying a friend to see a doctor, I looked for nearby accommodation. After looking at it, I thought it was good because it is a youth hostel and not a luxury hotel. Overall, it is good value for money.

The sanitation is clean, neat, orderly and beautiful. It is convenient to take a shower and wash clothes. The room is bright and clean. The linens are changed after each guest. The geographical coordinates are near the Provincial Red Cross Hospital. There is a small Great Wall Park next to it. It is bustling when you go in and quiet when you retreat. A good place for leisure and rest.
The cabinet is a bit old and we didn't use it.

The hotel has a good atmosphere and the owner is very nice. He even helped me wash my clothes. The room and bathroom are very clean. There is also a living room and kitchen. The location is OK. It takes about 15 minutes from the hotel to Xining Railway Station

The hostel can be reached by a short walkng distance from the local bus stop near the school. If you can use the China Baidu Map Apps (in Mandarin), it is easily can find the right bus route to the hostel as there is another bus stop at the back lane of this hostel. Local bus is cheap at RMB2 per trip, by cash or Apps, so be prepared with RMB1 note or coins.
The room is big but some facilities like curtain and furnitures are a bit out dated, it comes with shared toilet and bathroom. Games like billardboard pool table are available.
A few food outlets selling local dishes nearby but most of them closed at night.
