I can fully recommend the stay at Mr. Wu‘s Hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The check-in and check-out was very easy. Even though they might not be fluent in English, I never had a problem communicating with them. We always used a translation app and we understood each other with ease. They even walked with me to the next convinient store around the corner to make sure I definitely found it. The room is very spacious with a big, comfortable bed and different pillows to chose from as well as a small bar to cook tea and enjoy a snack. It‘s very clean. Every day they come in, remove the trash, make the bed and clean everything as well as refill the water bottle which are for free during your stay. The location of hotel was perfect for me with lots of restaurants around and the merto station(line 3 and 6) just a short walk away. You can very easily go to the city centre and all the sights by metro. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda for example is just a couple stops away with line 3. The breakfast buffet has a lot of choices - something for every taste. It‘s mostly chinese dishes but also with western options e.g. toast, jam, cereal. Fruit is also available. It is really delicious! To sum it up: If you want to enjoy Xi‘an and want to stay in an awesome hotel, this is the one to pick! There are a garden near the city wall and at night there are pubs and live music across the wall. You can visit their morning market near the wall. There are some restaurants near the hotel and you explore behind the hotel, there is a restaurant that serve barbecue meat and local food

Super hostel with an unbeatable price ! Rooftop, BBQ Terrace with summer vibes (closed when I was there because the owner was sick). In the middle of the Muslim Quarter, close to its Mosque. Walkable distance to the Bell Tower. You can buy drinks and food at the same price you would pay in a convenience store. Microwave, hot water dispensers and a shrink to wash your cup/portable fork/knife/spoon. Free towel bath. The reception was lovely ! I ordered a package, but the delivery company was not able to find us. I asked for help to the reception, and they helped me solve this issue. Thank you for your work ! Only bad points for me : it is a Chinese building - the toilets are very close to the shower and there is no separation. Toilets and the floor will get wet. And you will walk there and put water around the room. There are no toilet flip-flops to avoid your shoes get wet.
