I had a few problems at the hotel, but my overall experience was ok. The staff were super kind and willing to help. The first issue was with the air conditioning. I’d put the temperature on 20°C (which is the lowest, according to the staff), but it never reached that, the lowest it got on the room was 24°C. If you like a cooler place, maybe that’s not a great option for you. The second one was with the shower. On my second day there, I went to take a shower around 7:40 am and it was super hot, the water wouldn’t cool down no matter what, when I turned the tap to cold, the water would stop. I was quite in a hurry that day, so I didn’t want to waste time talking to the staff about it and ended up not inquiring about this issue. Another con is that there is no minibar in the room, which would’ve been pretty helpful to preserve food (since the hotel doesn’t provide breakfast), especially with the air conditioning problem. The lightning is also kind of bad, so the rooms is a bit dark. The pros are the location of the hotel, which is pretty good, right next to a subway station, and the staff. Once I arrived, they sent welcoming snacks to my room. If you can’t speak mandarin or don’t understand what they’re saying, they’ll do their best to talk to you, even if it requires the use of a translator app. The hotel provides an afternoon tea and a night snack daily.

Advantages: The overall health is not bad, the facilities are relatively complete (no refrigerator) the location is next to the west gate, the subway is convenient and there is a convenience store at the door. The lobby staff has a good sense of service. Disadvantages: The room was clean and knocked on the door at 8 o'clock in the morning and asked if I needed to clean it? We fell asleep and ignored it, and actually swiped the card directly in? Will you not disturb others' rest and infringe on others' privacy? On the other hand, because the room is old, the sound insulation is really poor, I hope to do some sound insulation treatment. Compared with the same price, the overall price is good, the stay experience is barely passed, and the service level of the room health service staff needs to be improved.

The room had some black marks on the wall but only in one or two places. The desk team were helpful and were happy to give water and coffee when we asked for it. Breakfast had good choices such as toast and croissants, hot dishes of vegetables, and plenty of drinks such as tea, coffee, juices, and soy milk. It’s located about 10 minutes away from two metro stations and two gates to the old city.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel and especially by the staff. The check-in process went very smoothly and we were allocated a huge room! The room was inspired by Captain America and had a play area with a tent and the single bed sheets decorated with Captain America and huge stuffed animals. Special mention to Flora Feng, the Customer Service Manager, who visited us in our room and offered us a nice welcome kit. Not only that, but she helped us make reservations for our visit to the Terracotta Warriors due to our inability to use Chinese-only mobile apps. It was not her role but she helped us using her personal mobile phone with great involvement and willingness to help. They made us feel at home! The breakfast was very varied with lots of choice. Don't miss it!

I lived without windows and airtight, I went in and closed the door as uncomfortable as at night. The hotel is on the second floor and the third floor. It seems to be noisy by students. The sound insulation effect is very poor.
