Overall, my stay was so-so. The bed was too small, the computer was laggy, the water pressure of the shower faucet was too low, barely, and there was a charge for self-service laundry.

The location of the youth hostel is close to the Everlasting City of Tang Dynasty. It has a lobby and a good atmosphere. The bed is soft and comfortable to sleep on. The guy at the front desk is also very welcoming.

The staff doesn't speak English but they are very kind and helpful when using a translation app. There are plenty of restaurants (incl. halal options) opened late and supermarkets in the area. The "sleepless city" district is very close by and Danshita metro station (TV tower) is about 10 min. walk. It's on line 2, which goes directly to the city center and North railway station.
The rooms are very clean and the 24h reception is on the same floor as the room, so it feels very safe.
