On our whole trip to China, this was by far the best hotel we’ve been to. It’s beautifully situated in the middle of tea plantations, very calm, a perfect place to take some time off. Nevertheless all the main sights are easily reached. Our host took the best care of us, organized everything for us to have a smooth trip. The tea they produced is organic, award winning and will amaze you. When coming to Wuyishan and looking for a unique experience, come to this place!

With summer vacation and weekends coinciding, prices for hotels and B&Bs at Sangu Resort skyrocketed. I decided to make a last-minute road trip to Wuyishan for the weekend and chose this quiet B&B. It's conveniently located near the scenic area and Tongmuguan Pass, and the scenery along Highway 1 is breathtaking. My three-day, two-night stay was truly wonderful. The B&B is partly a converted tea factory, with another building offering a tour of the tea-making process. The courtyard is immaculately kept, and the rooms, though small, are spotless. The entire property is fed by mountain spring water, surrounded by tea mountains and a flowing stream. The owner is incredibly chatty and knowledgeable about the area, always available to help with any questions. Feel free to ask for travel tips. On our first day, he recommended a secluded spot for water play. Before leaving, I sat in the teahouse for a while, enjoying some tea brewed by the owner, and soaked in the relaxed and refreshing atmosphere surrounding Wuyishan. It was a truly enjoyable experience.

This summer's best choice – a great place to escape the heat and enjoy water activities. Tongmu Pass itself isn't a popular tourist spot, but we wanted a truly wild experience. However, with children, we were hesitant to take the risks, so we chose this guesthouse with some trepidation. We were pleasantly surprised! First, the guesthouse was incredibly clean. The owner had thoughtfully designed the rooms with electric stoves for roasting tea, filling the rooms with a wonderful aroma. It's very close to the water play area. Every morning, the guesthouse staff prepares a healthy breakfast, all homemade. There's a restaurant just a ten-minute drive away for lunch and dinner. Behind the guesthouse is a small vegetable garden and the owner's own tea plantation. When things aren't too busy, the owner can even take children on tours of the tea factory, allowing them to truly experience life close to nature.
The owner was incredibly attentive. When we went to play in the water, he thoughtfully provided us with camping tables and chairs, as well as water play equipment. He meticulously arranged everything we could think of, and even reminded us of things we hadn't considered. It was truly a wonderful experience, and we hope to return next year.

A very healing and quiet hotel. The owner, who was born in the 1990s, was very enthusiastic and sincere. He took us to visit the tea factory and go up the mountain to experience tea picking. The photos were also very good. Highly recommended.

The boss and his family are very nice. They always take me out for dinner in the evening. If I get up early during the day, they will get up even earlier to prepare breakfast. The next day, they prepared homemade snacks and fruits for us in the tea room, including delicious Dahongpao cinnamon. We checked out at 6pm. I asked to pay an extra half day's room rate, but the boss refused. The tea house life is worth experiencing.
