Gasthof Zur Burg

German Gasthof in the middle of the Black Forest, we stayed two nights and booked the Komfort room because it does not overlook the bar terrace, otherwise, people staying late can disturb the sleep. Room sufficiently large and clean, of course the bathroom without bidet, quiet with good sleep quality. In the restaurant you eat well and the prices are fair, but you have to appreciate the 'German-style' food. The staff is always friendly. Ample parking outside and for motorbikes there is a covered garage closed at night. Price/quality ratio fairly balanced, but if I were to return there I'd look for something else, in the Schwarzwald area you're spoilt for choice. Negative points: We stayed two nights, but on our return after the first night the room had not been cleaned, forgetfulness? Their practice? I don't know, we were so tired that I didn't want to get into an argument, but so what. It would have been nice to sit on the terrace of the bar and have a cold beer, but after a while you had to run away... too many flies, there was not even one of those fly-catchers that fry them if they get close, and I didn't understand whether the customers present were used to it or resigned to it. Another thing was the breakfast: only and exclusively salty, no brioche or cake. To have something sweet I had to resort to the classic bread with butter and jam.
