Wanda Reign Hotels in Wuhan

During the National Day holiday, I took my parents and children on a cruise to visit the Three Gorges. The first stop was Wuhan, and then I took the boat from Wuhan to Yichang. Before leaving, I compared many hotels in terms of location, hotel scenery, service and other aspects. I thought that most of the branded five-star hotels are similar but less interesting, so this time I finally chose the Howard Johnson Pearl Hotel, which has Wuhan's local characteristics. Checking in late is indeed a very wise choice. The hotel's location is very advantageous. From the room, you can see the Dujiang Tower and the Flood Monument with Chairman Mao's inscription in front of you. The lights on the Wuhan River are beautiful. The hotel is very convenient to everywhere. My son and I were tired of walking around Jianghanguan and had to wait in line for a taxi during peak hours. We took the bus directly to the hotel downstairs for only 1 yuan and only took a few minutes. After dinner, it only takes a few minutes to walk from the hotel to the river bank opposite. It is so pleasant to be surrounded by the river and the wind. The breakfast at the hotel was quite satisfactory. The hot dry noodles tasted good, but the lady who made the hot dry noodles was a bit stiff. The layout of the room is spacious, reasonable and comfortable, and the view is excellent. Sitting by the window and looking far into the distance is what you want. The front desk service is warm and meticulous, which doubles your favorability. I really like the unique architectural appearance of the hotel. A pearl is particularly dazzling at night. You can also take the hotel sightseeing elevator from the 1st floor to the 40th floor, where you can gradually see the entire city, which is very interesting. If you come to Wuhan for the first time, you will definitely not be disappointed if you can stay at Howard Johnson Pearl Hotel.

They take a 600yuan fee when you get there (just so you know. It is not advertised anywhere). Staff is very friendly and nice and everything is clean. There are two “Lady Floors” in the hotel. Breakfast is correct, if you are looking for nice toasts, it is not the place. The rest is ok. The location is really nice, it is a short walk to the river and then you walk around the park. Actually, it may be the best part of this hotel! It was a nice stay, but I wouldn’t repeat, the “vibe” of is not my style.

The hotel room boasts fabulous views that can captivate any guest. However, the charm is dampened by dated furniture and decor. While the scenic backdrop provides solace, modernizing the interior would enhance the overall experience and make it truly unforgettable.

Great location, affordable price, large room with sofa and working desk. Room cleaning is done promptly. Front desk is efficient. Would stay here again. Construction is going on in front of hotel, but the noise doesn't reach my room. Remote volume button doesn't seem to work.

The hotel is very close to Hongshan Square subway station, which is only a five-minute walk away. The transportation is very convenient. The front desk staff is very friendly and efficient. The check-in and check-out process is very smooth. It can be seen that the hotel is a bit old, but it has also been renovated. The hardware facilities in the room are quite complete. Overall, it is still a very good standard! If there are any shortcomings, I feel that the air conditioning in the room is not so easy to use, and the cooling effect is a bit poor. In short, it is a very good hotel with a high cost performance and is worth recommending.

Good location downtown and close to MixC shopping centre. Hotel itself is a bit 90s in style and could do with an update/refresh but has been kept in pretty good condition considering. Room clean enough and very spacious. Breakfast was underwhelming, with fairly limited options for a five star hotel. Service decent.

It was one of my best experience. Very near to the metro station, very clean room. And all the stuffs were very kind and friendly. Breakfast was also very good.

Near hankou train and mrt station, don't book if use taxi, it won't benefit you. Allow late check out till 4pm, this is good for travellers who catch night flight. But the cleaning department staff will go into your room without acknowledge, luckily I did put on the lock cos I didn't close my shower door. Front desk is somehow helpful and polite View from my room, therefore I can only keep the curtain off all the time

This is the first time we came to Wuhan and we received great hospitality from this hotel. The hotel is clean with great amenities and I want specially thanks Miyan Dang and Thomas Tang for helping us to order Mei Tuan. We are both foreigner and basically we cannot order any food via the Mei Tuan app. Thanks to both the Westin staffs for helping us to order our dinner and branch and send up to our room. They even let us extend our room until 2pm instead of normal check out time.
