During our stay, we were charged a total of 27 pet fees. After reviewing the policy with Choice Hotel we had found that the pet fee was to be charged per stay and not per night. We brought this up with the supervisor to which she had mentioned that she noticed this and confirmed that the staff was told to stop charging us the pet fee. The charging stopped by most employees, minus two, shortly before this conversation. We were also advised by Choice Hotels that the pet fee is to be charged per stay however everytime we went to extend out stay, staff and management included would rebook us which we also found out through Choice Hotels is not the way the extension is supposed to be done, this hotel was capitalizing off our stay by doing so as we were advised that when staying for long periods of times, rates drop as you extend. Our invoices were supposed to be looked over and made sure that we were retro paid for the pet fees however this like many other things never actually got looked into and we of course never heard anything from anyone. This is not because the supervisor did not keep her word however it was because upon getting copies of our invoices for around a 3 month stay, the pet fee charges were not all noted on the invoices. We were shocked to see that only 3 pet fees were documented. We kept a strict budget and kept track of all the times we were charged the pet fee. We once again notified front desk staff and the blonde girl who was working that night was confused herself knowing that we were charged more than 3 pet fees and even got into contact with management immediately (so we were told). There were only two staff members who continued to charge us the pet fee with one charging more often then the other. In total, we spent around $600.00 on pet fees and none but 3 of the pet fees are documented. When this was brought to management's attention - we were told that we were liars, our story didn’t add up, we should have brought this to their attention sooner etc. Management continued to talk over my partner and did not let him explain that both separate times we checked, on the first day when the pet fee should be noted on our invoices (if it was done the way they claimed to do so) as it was the start of our stay, it was NOT documented and was NOT included on our invoices despite it being our first day of either arriving at the hotel or when we returned 2 weeks after we checked out the first time. We paid cash for 95% of our stays and when we had asked about the cameras that are behind the front desk as we believe these pet fees were stolen, the management (who finally called after we checked out for good) got even more defensive. Which is not only completely unprofessional but leads us to believe again that our pet fees were stolen. If you are looking for a hot shower, or even a lukewarm shower during your stay. This hotel is not it. Hot water was always a hit or a miss during our stay but we would manage to sneak in a warm shower b
