Chewuch Inn & Cabins

What a disastrous decline to what used to be a cozy and well-maintained place. We’ve stayed here when the cabins actually were well appointed and showed a pride of ownership. Our stay this weekend was sad. The check-in, the maintenance of the cabin, the fact that the lodge sign at the entrance isn’t even lit at night, the peeling floors, rotting kitchen chairs— its a nightmare that used to be a cozy gem. Keep your distance.

We were very excited to stay in their cabin until we entered it and saw the dirt and stained carpeting. Otherwise the place is okay.

The room was clean. The king size bed was very comfortable had the extra amenities like soap for dishes, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, refrigerator, and coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was excellent! Not only cereals, oatmeal, waffles, coffee, and tea, but also hot breakfast with quiche or scrambled eggs and bacon. If in this area again would return to this hotel.

Wish breakfast was served earlier since we wanted to get N early start into the park and we couldn’t even bring our food since there wasn’t a fridge or microwave. There were comfy beds and a nice table to play games on

I enjoyed my stay. I stayed in an ADA room because that was the last available one. It was very spacious and clean, with everything I needed. The property is in a great location, and it is very easy to access the suspension bridge, across the road near the Ice Rink, and walk into town. The property has a great little creek in the back, and it was lovely to put my feet in the water and watch the deer and baby turkeys foraging in the nearby woods. I will definitely stay here again. I did not partake of the breakfast options, so I am not able to properly evaluate them.

This was our second stay here and we loved it again. Our room was big, had a small kitchen area with a water kettle, coffee maker and a plug in 2 burner cook top. It was spotlessly clean and the location was perfect. You can walk into the business section of Winthrop very easily. Staffing is light, only the cook/cleaner on premises but they are very helpful. Breakfast is included and it has an array of items to suit everyone. It was quiet. Great place to stay.

Great place to stay. Bed was very comfortable. Area is nice and quiet being off the main track. Morning breakfast was very nice.

I picked this location due to the 4.8 rating. We arrived after 5:00 PM and were told the room had not been cleaned but they were working on it. No problem, we went to Winthrop for dinner. Arrived back later and room appeared to be cleaned. The next morning I raised the toilet seat only to discover a poop stain. The issue was reported to a cleaning person who was in a storage room next door. She reviewed the issue and was very apologetic. She indicated a manager would call but no calls were received. Not what we expected and now wonder if sheets had been changed.

We enjoyed the cabin with hot tub. It was clean and well supplied with quality furnishings & products. It is within walking distance to downtown & the movies as well as other trails. Highly recommend!
