Stayed here a few years ago when it first opened and it was fine. Omg how did you let it go so downhill?!?! Smells of smoke of wet carpet throughout, $22 mandatory valet fee and good luck with that. Parking attendance smells like a bottle of gin at 9 am, our window left open, poor guy waiting in front of us they left the car unlocked and key in the car 😂😂. Avoid at all cost.

Really nice hotel. This is a great location and I liked having valet parking because it’s hard to find parking in downtown. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Everyone I encountered was friendly – from the valet to the check-in staff. I would definitely stay here again.

$22 plus tips to park car. Oh and a 15-20 minute wait to get it! Why not just be upfront instead posting 2 other options for parking. I rarely say I’d NEVER stay there again but I’d NEVER stay there again! ******* called twice to explain there policy is not clear. Their response was park down the street at $10 per entry or pay the penalty and cancel the reservation. If you don’t mind hidden fees or like wasting time waiting then stay here. If not pick one of the many equally nice less expensive options in the area.

Great location and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Near some great restaurants. Valet parking is $22. Breakfast was good. No free water bottles for silver members which is a disappointment. One of the elevators was very shaky and noisy and that was the one that opened every time except one. A family waiting with me refused to enter it because of the condition. The other elevator that I rode once was fine.

I have been a diamond member for over 15 years and can honestly say this is the worst property I have ever visited. The staff was not knowledgeable or helpful, and my car was broken into while under their valet care, taking a suit and full set of golf clubs valued at $2500. And after the owner told me he would make things right and had me provide him receipts, he stopped communicating for two weeks. Then sent me to his insurance knowing he has no coverage for theft. The GM of the hotel Amanda and the valet owner Hamilton Ross then spoke together and both decided they would not help or reimburse me in any way. Do not stay at this property for any reason

Stayed 1 night here on our way through town. Wanted something nice, local and affordable. This hotel offered clean rooms, and a great morning breakfast. Valet parking made things upon arrival easier. Staff were very personable and willing to help with anything you need.

Our son had a USTA tennis tournament in Winston Salem and we chose this hotel for our stay. Arrived early in-between matches, were able to get an early check in and relax. Everyone, from the front desk to valet parking, breakfast service, etc. was very friendly and competent. You could tell that the employees actually enjoy their job and take pride. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms are super comfortable. Location was very convenient for all that we needed. Could not recommend more - we definitely will come stay here again when in the area. Thank you!

This Hampton Inn is a new property located right in the heart of this small but charming city, walking distance to lots of coffee shops and other eateries. Excellent service - we arrived in the middle of the night and they were at the desk and checked us in quickly and efficiently. Clean, modern furnishings and vibe. Reasonable prices. Note that you have to pay for parking which is slightly annoying given that Winston-Salem is not exactly NYC, but what can you do.
