The hotel is clean but it has not had an uplift in 10 years or more. It is old and dingy. Staff friendly. The outside looks scraggy. Originally it was a $300 night rate thank goodness we were able to reduce the rate. I would have been furious to spend that much on this place.

Two day stay. Very clean. Friendly staff always greeted us. Pat kept the breakfast area ìn great shape. Enjoyed the fresh fruit. Hotel dated but the things that really mattered were in tip top shape. (My husband noticed hole in first floor hallway carpet.)

What a great place, all the staff are so warm and welcoming and up for a laugh and a chat. Miss Pat in the dining room is an absolute sweetheart in every way. My daughter loved the waffle making machine and was shown how to use it to get optimal results and told where to buy one. I understand some people stay her on business for weeks on end. I can see why, it has everything you need. For us, as a British family coming to the States for some famous Southern hospitality, this provided us with the perfect example. Thank you. :)

Great hotel, very good breakfast, friendly staff. They had free water bottles for customers. My son used the gym and pool and said it was very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice area with several restaurants and shops nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

Another great stay here. This hotel always provides great service and the staff genuinely care. Pool area is immaculate, and they continuously clean the grounds. Breakfast is good as normal at most Hampton Inns. Although some eggs and bacon would be nice. Clean rooms and comfortable bed!

My family stayed here on our way to Surfside Beach. We are Hilton Honors members so always to try find a a Hilton property. We started searching for a Hampton once we got to the Winston Salem area. We picked the right one, the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere made it a great stay. Little touches like the fireplace and cute little outside area made it so welcoming. Also, tons of restaurants near by! Great job Hampton staff and we will be back next year!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Hampton Inn Winston Salem Hanes Mall, while visiting our daughter. It is a great experience and everything I expect from an affordable hotel. It is clean, comfortable, convenient location, free breakfast is good and, above all, the staff is professional, courteous and very friendly. Paris was the gentleman who greeted at the front desk and he was great; he made us feel very welcome. I did not get the names of other staff, but everyone we spoke with made us feel at home, including housekeeping, breakfast room and front desk. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

The Hampton Inn Hanes Mall has become our "go to" when we come to Winston-Salem to visit our son. Our visit this weekend was excellent from check-in to check-out. The staff is always smiling and extremely polite. Even when there was a glitch in their computer system at check-in they kept it together. Our room, a king size with sofabed couch was roomy and well-appointed with the bathroom nice and clean. We stayed on the first floor (always ask for away from the interstate side) and slept nice and comfortably on both nights that we were there (overslept in fact). Didn't try the breakfast as we had activities with our son but as we walked past the people who were eating, it looked good! Thanks once again for a terrific stay!
