I had handed over clothes for dry cleaning, but they were returned having undergone standard washing instead. Furthermore, the clothes were not clean, and an expensive shirt was ruined. The staff refused to take responsibility, claiming I had not specified dry cleaning—which was untrue—though I was eventually paid £100 in compensation. That was my experience during my stay."

"This is a family hotel, I didn't notice it when I booked it. The room was clean and it was a 15-minute walk from the ferry in the town. The landlord had a lot of rules: for example, you can't bring food from the restaurant back to the room, put your shoes on the tray, check out at 10 o'clock, and you can't store your bag after checking out."

"The hotel is conveniently located 6-7 minutes from the station and lake area, making it easy to access boats and buses. The hotel's environment is pleasant, but honestly, the rooms are quite average. The carpet was a bit dirty, and there were multiple stains on the sofa. The bathroom only had a small bottle of shampoo, no shower gel, but there was a small bar of soap. However, the breakfast included with the room was surprisingly good. The à la carte main courses were very English and definitely worth praising. Just for the breakfast alone, I would recommend this hotel."
