We stayed 2 nights while we were visiting family in the area. The innkeeper met us at the door when we arrived and we were immediately taken to our room. The place was clean and charming with country appointments. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast both mornings was generous and delicious, different each day. The family is also putting a lot of effort in the landscaping. I read that there is a cat in the house, but it is restricted to the family’s residence and out of the guest area. Our room had a balcony, but the weather was not conducive for its use. Two other rooms have sitting areas and the separate cottage sleeps 7. We have already recommended it and will be staying there on subsequent visits.

I own Moonlight Manor Bed and Breakfast in Floyd, va and I was in town for the mid Atlantic b&b conference and I chose to stay at this b&b instead of the location of the conference. I was so glad I did. The room was spacious, the location convenient, the people were so friendly and the food was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!

We decided while on holiday to the States to visit Pennsylvania on our way back to New York. I hadn’t realised how close the Amish community were. On further research Hershey’s world is about an hour away so we had plenty to do and see. Hersheys is a def must to see the street light kisses. I wanted to stay somewhere that would give us an American town experience and not a hotel chain. We were not disappointed! The hosts were so lovely and accommodating, even sorting a to go breakfast on the day we had to leave early. The food is beautiful and plentiful. Our room was spotlessly clean and we were sad to leave. We at the Willow diner further down the road and I can highly recommend. The retail park opposite has a supermarket and dollar shops. We stocked up on Hersheys chocolate there as gifts.. $1 there as opposed to $6 at Hersheys chocolate world! We drove about ten mins into Ronks/Bird in Hand qnd drove around the streets and there were numerous Amish people going about their daily business.

The "owners" of the Apple Bin Inn that are in it's website are not the people at the Inn. I was expecting to have a traditional B&B experience with locals that ran the B&B, served locally sourced and inspired breakfast, and had local knowledge of the area. This was not the case at all. To be upfront, the house was nice and the room was great. We had an adjoining sitting room and private bath and that is part of why I picked this location. Everything was clean. This is not the main reason I picked a bed and breakfast, however. The people running the B&B were not locals, did not serve local food, and were not even American, they were Brazilian. This is completely contrary to what is advertised and listed. We were served generic, store bought biscuits with some odd curry or tumeric based gravy for breakfast. None of the children eating when we were had more than a bite, if that of the food, and I was the only one who got more than one biscuit since I was hungry. I thought it tasted OK, but I was wanting Amish inspired dishes with Amish made ingredients. If you want an actual bed and breakfast experience, stay somewhere else. This is just a farce and a waste of valuable time in the beautiful surrounding area.

We had a lovely stay. The inn itself is charming, and there was some history in the guest book in our room. The hosts keep the place immaculate and are very accommodating. We stayed in the empire room and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on our private balcony looking at the magnolia trees preparing to blossom. We had a comfortable bed with nice bedding. Eric was super friendly and sat with us all while we had our breakfast. He was able to tel us a bit of history of the area too. His wife and daughters were cordial and always smiling. We would have appreciated some room darkening shades or curtains, as the room was bright come sunrise. That would have perfected our stay. There’s some traffic noise, since the inn is right on the street, but that’s of no fault of the owners and hosts. It’s certainly not enough to keep us from coming back! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Just got home after a great stay in Lancaster. The Innkeepers (I want to say Fred and Leusa?? I'm terrible with names!) were wonderful. Very warm and accommodating. My suite was too cute. Very comfortable. I slept like a log until about 6:00 am when the street traffic started! I am not used to that. It was somewhat disappointing since I really wanted to sleep in. I went down to a breakfast of French toast cloud pillows! So light and fluffy with a rum caramel sauce. Delicious. I informed them that I had an early day the next morning and they left me a wonderful breakfast to go! A warm panini, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee! So sweet of them to remember I take cream and sugar! I thought I might pick up a bottle of wine for my last night. Texted Fred(?) about an opener. It was on the bureau when I got in. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. Maybe a white noise machine if you are not used to the sounds of traffic right under the window. It was convenient to everything I needed to be close to, easy to find, and a very pleasant place to stay.

Came with some girlfriends and checked it out last year. Had a great time. No problems. Very clean and charming. It has new owners and the innkeepers they hired were very nice. Good breakfast. For life during the pandemic, we felt like they did a good. Close to fun attractions.

Fun bed and breakfast close to Lancaster. Innkeepers were very nice and helpful. It was getting a bit chilly outside, but the swing and patio sitting area was nice in the afternoon. Breakfast was great and we were well cared for. Thank you for a delightful stay.
