Great, quiet room. Good service. Food not available at this time. We would stay here again.

I would like to make some additional comments to my prior review as more occurred after it was written. I addition to the fifty floor that looked like someone with wet dirty feet walked all over it , the dirty toilet which clearly had not been cleaned along the rim in at least a few weeks, we discovered hair and dirt in the shower when we went to shower in the morning. Also, when we were leaving our room, down the hall were we heard shouting. Not talking, but shouting! It was two women with cleaning carts- one was at her cart the other was in a room and they were having a conversation and apparently, shouting is the way they communicate. I guess the fact that it was a Sunday MORNING and people might be trying to sleep or rest did not matter to them. When we went to check out we wanted to voice our complaints to the front desk and she did not care and did not want to hear one word. She told us to send an email to an address she gave us. I did not sleep all night because I had no confidence the sheets were ever changed or clean as they clearly cut many cleaning corners. In addition our tv was not working properly- we could not get a single channel to come up. What an awful night! ( photos show how dirty the wash cloth was when I cleaned ONE floor tile with water only ( no soap), the dirty floor, hair in the shower, dirty shower floor and toilet.

When we arrived we were told food was served til 10:00. It was 9:20. We asked for wings and the lady told us she was no longer serving. Our room is filthy. I mean really bad. The toilet is clearly dirty and the tile floor is dusty, full of hair and noticeably dirty. Like really dirty. I wanted to leave as I have no confidence the sheets are clean but there are no other rooms in the area. I do not recommend this place. Photos show what my wash cloth looked like when I wiped a small part of the filthy floor.

The employees working are wonderfully nice. The lobby and room are somewhat updated. Housekeeping and overall condition need some real work. My bathroom floor had a pile of ***** right by the shower door. Made me question the overall cleanliness. Hot tub was out of order and pool area in general was a mess. 2 stars because courtyard has standards and these are not close to those. I hope to try this property again in the future and hopefully revise this review.

After a 12 hour drive only needed a clean room and a hot shower which is almost guaranteed at Marriott but not this time. Front desk personnel was excellent! Second room just as bad very unclean and smelled like dirty boots. It’s a great location but not worth it. Marriott do a better job because Hilton has been killing it. Oh yes, don’t forget no hot water! Only write good reviews but this one is needed because I wished I knew better, Motel 6 looked like a better option across the street. Happy travels!

The bride, my daughter, had rooms blocked well in advance of her wedding. Guests, including members of the bridal party, received messages during the reception stating that their rooms were given to other people. They were given rooms in a different hotel in a different suburb. Courtyard paid for the Uber. Really? A groomsman even went to Courtyard earlier in the day to ask about checking in before the reception. Totally unacceptable and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to any bridal party.

This was THE most disappointing Marriott I've ever stayed in. First the good...it was clean, close to the wedding venue, good price. Now the bad...the towels were a joke, little and rough. The toiletries were doll sized. Virtually no housekeeping or trash pick up. We (3 families in 3 rooms) stayed several days and we all had different rates because of the wedding block discount over the weekend. Each day we were asked about leaving and had to get new keys made up daily despite being clear we were all there for 4 days. The TV didn't work and someone had to come fix it. The bed was too soft for my liking. Just not the typical Marriott experience.

We were extremely disappointed in our experience at the Courtyard by Marriott in Willoughby. We have now heard from many of our friends and relatives who stayed there. My wife and I stayed there, as did our son, the groom, our other sons and friends (groomsmen and bridesmaids). and other family members. I understand about covid, but some of this was unacceptable, and, in particular, did not come close to meeting the standards we are accustomed to for the Marriott brand (I have been a loyal rewards member for many years).. --Trash piled up in rooms with no housekeeping service, and not even plastic bags available at the front desk --No normal sized towels, only small towels or small pool towels. This was really unbelievable. --No communication to us in advance that any of this was going to happen. So, picture the bridegroom on his wedding day, along with the parents of the bride,and the bridesmaids and groomsmen all getting ready for the big day with no housekeeping, trash piled up in the room, and having small pool towels for taking a shower. As you can imagine, everyone was pretty disgusted.

Tired inside and out. "Recently renovated", no way! Out of coffee packets for rooms, but they have "complimentary" coffee in the lobby or you can purchase at the hotel when you purchase your breakfast or water (at $3 bottle). No soap/shampoo in shower. Thin/CHEAP towels provided. Sign says to ask for free toiletry items at front desk. Needed shave cream. Guess what...nope, they don't have that either. Way over-priced dump. Oh, almost forgot that the elevator door squeaks a lot. Before long this dump will charge for elevator, or you can take the complimentary stairs.
