I tend to discount highly negative reviews because we all have bad days. I've never written one myself…until now. At every turn, the manager refused to find a helpful resolution to our situation. Even when we provided the information she insisted she needed, she still refused to help. Instead, she continued to escalate the situation, threatening to contact our employer and deny us service, while insisting we would be charged for the room she would not provide. We chose Marriott for the consistent quality of service and were shocked by this treatment. They are, after all, in the hospitality business. The young desk staff tried to be helpful and was clearly embarrassed by her boss. There are plenty of other high-quality places nearby, I recommend you choose one of those.
