This hotel is PERFECT for budget travelers!
I’m always so scared when I book hotels on the cheaper side of the spectrum in an area, because I just can’t relax in a place that doesn’t feel clean or safe.
Our hotel room was EXTREMELY clean, and the carpets looked brand new! The bed wasn’t amazing, but for the price it was definitely good enough!
The area also felt pretty safe, and the hotels have a very secure flip-lock on the doors (one of the safest kinds of door locks out there!) As a female traveler, I would have felt very safe traveling solo here.
The breakfast has fresh waffles, eggs and sausage, and plenty of pastries/toast/bagels. There’s also yogurt, fruit, cereal, and a coffee/tea bar. It’s not too fancy, but for a budget traveler, it’s perfect.
It’s a 10 minute walk to a grocery store and nearby shops. Less than 5 minutes drive to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitors Center.
We’d totally stay again. It checked all the boxes, and wonderfully so for the price point!

There are bugs in the room🐞, the chair handle is broken, there is only one trash can in the whole house, and there is no trash can in the bathroom. The plates, cups, and bowls used for breakfast are all made of foam plastic, and it feels like the merchant has gone to extreme lengths to save money. When we went to have breakfast, the aunt in charge of hygiene in the restaurant kept chirping and chattering. On the first morning, she even argued with the lady at the front desk. When she sprayed disinfectant on the table and wiped it, she didn't even care that there were people eating at the table next to her and the table was so arranged. very tight. Apart from being close to where we play, there are no other advantages.
