We've just returned from a one-night stay at Dormy House Hotel for my husband's 40th. We stayed in room 22 for dinner, bed, and breakfast. It was a lovely way to celebrate, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel also has amazing spa facilities. I loved the snow room! The rooms are spacious and include lots of little extras to make you feel at home. Our evening meal and breakfast in the Back Garden was delicious and I appreciated the staff members offering us window seats.

We visted as a birthday night away. Room was lovely, however as it was located in a ground floor room in the back courtyard area we did feel overlooked (we needed to keep all curtains closed when getting changed etc). Soundproofing was poor as we could hear our neigbours talking, coughing etc. Breakfast was superb - as a vegan I was offered adapted options e.g. porridge with oat milk and staff were very helpful. We ate dinner in the Back Garden resturant - as a vegan I had a separate menu which was appreciated, although the pudding option was almost inedible - sugary strawberry water (like a bowl of thin red soup), with strawberry slices, with a sugary scoop of sorbet dissolving in the red soup... it was all too sickly and headache inducing. I adore sugar, but this was unbalanced - needs a serious redesign. Also, be aware that service charge gets added to everything including drinks you go up to get at the bar.

Back at dreamy Dormy and it never disappoints. Exceptional service from everyone, food to die for and the comfiest bed for a perfect night away. Spa facilities are so clean and the new updated sauna and snow room were fantastic. Cannot wait to return as per!

Great boutique hotel. We had a room with an outdoor two-person hot tub, which was appreciated after the stress of driving in the Cotswolds! The room was comfortable and modern, with a very nice bathroom with expansive shower. Breakfast was very good, with a light buffet and menu-ordered mains. The highlight was dinner at Mo - we’ve been to many Michelin restaurants, and this was a highlight memory. A 7+ course tasting menu prepared (assembled) in front of you by chefs, and an overview of each course and wine pairings.

Beautiful place with modern fresh decor. Bathroom coffee etc very good. Nice and airy. Smells delicious(candles). Lovely linen. Great spa… great staff. A very nice treat. Fabulous breakfast except the bacon was a bit overcooked. Otherwise faultless. Great wine dispenser in the bar!

Stayed at Dormy house for our anniversary for 2 nights Very enjoyable Lovely location Impeccable decor and furnishings Friendly and attentive service Nice compact spa - liked the stainless steel hot tub and lap pool (I think slightly saline so belt very buoyant. My wife had a wonderful facial, my massage was relaxing Didn’t realise there was a gym, didn’t have time to use it but well equipped We stayed in the Hideaway Suite Nice lounge area Bedroom not big enough to accommodate a super king (which was super comfy - way too many pillows though, why do hotels do that these days, as they just end up on the floor?) AC struggled a bit on the first night so not the best nights sleep Fab shower, nice toiletries, horrid loo roll! Breakfast excellent, Caesar salad for lunch in the spa was one of the best I’ve ever had I’ve reviewed Mo (chefs table) and the Back Garden restaurants separately - in short, the former was great, the latter (for me) was just ok I would happily return for the hotel and Mo, would perhaps dine in Broadway for the other night £2.5k+ for the 2 nights plus drinks plus dinner plus spa

The most relaxing stay. Super friendly and helpful staff, ultra clean, in a quiet and quaint setting. Only niggle would be the restaurant. At dinner time, food was nice but maybe a little pricey for what it was. Wasn’t impressed with my starter, raised with the host, which wasn’t particularly dealt with in the the manner I would expect. At breakfast, bacon was served burnt and had ran out of croissants. The bacon was replaced and alternative provided for croissant but for a “premium” hotel stay, I wouldn’t expect these little mishaps. Wouldn’t stop me from coming again.

Honestly, such a beautiful spa hotel retreat. Nestled in the rural Cotswolds, the hotel is as lovely at a distance as it is close up. We stayed in a suite which was gorgeous. Comfy, nice little touches, beautiful bathrooms with heated floors and skylights, aircon if it’s warm, as it sadly wasn’t too warm, it was nicely heated once we worked out all the gadgets. I liked the bed, my companion didn’t get on with it, but I honestly found it super cosy. The most important thing to say about Dormy is how lovely the team are. Everyone is so friendly and sweet, everyone cares if you’re having a great time. Friendly and kind are the words I most want to use. The hotel itself is gorgeous and immaculate. In winter, I bet the lounge areas with log fired are super cosy and intend to come back to find out! The breakfast is very good, dinner in the restaurant was lovely, perhaps as a Londoner I found the more relaxed pace on the first night a little *too* relaxed, but that’s a micro criticism. And honestly, this review could only hold a few microcriticisms, because my stay was so enjoyable. The spa is divine. I love a spa and I’ve been lucky enough to be at a fair number. Dormy’s is one of the nicest I’ve ever visited. It is immaculately clean, in beautiful working order and has lovely touches, like the snow machine! I had a massage, facial and float (lovely that they have a tank, another great touch) and all my therapists were fantastic. After treatments, you are given a little chocolate and a tincture. These small details are so sweet. Everything is so relaxed and trusting. Take extra water for yourself if you wish. Extra coffee pods? No probs. Wear your spa robes to your room? No probs. The whole vibe and the beautiful scenery encouraged me, stressed city person, to feel calmer. I will 100% come back and I’d encourage you all to go, just not at all once eh? Because I’ve discovered this gorgeous place and I’d like it to stay peaceful! Can I ask one favour though? Please can we have a few healthier options on the all day menu? And a little more vegan/gluten free options? Huge thanks to the whole team; restaurant, bar, reception, housekeeping and spa. You do such a beautiful job.

What a delightful and relaxing several days. Elegant restaurant, although we enjoyed its less expensive brother (the Potting Shed) even more. Breakfast was pretty standard fare, and unfortunately unchanging from day to day. The Spa is beautiful and professionally run, excellent therapists and services. The room was large, comfortable, and well appointed. The shower was perfect, the tub restful, the bath products high quality. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. Could not have had a better holiday. Don’t miss this gem.👏👏👏
