Wir waren als Paar schon öfters in The Pink Loge, die Lage ist bombastisch, die Aussicht toll, Frühstück ist ok, Zimmerservice ok, Zimmer verwohnt, Wasserhähne nach einem Jahr nicht repariert, Klobrillen lose, die Angestellten haben im Hinterhof, zwischen Müll ,einen kleinen Tisch zum Kaffee trinken, unwürdig, Klimaanlagen haben nicht funktioniert. Wir hatten das Apartment Pebbles, mit Dachterrasse,eigentlich toll,aber kaputte Liegen, keinen Schatten, also die 4 1/2 Sterne müssen vor 20 Jahren vergeben worden sein.Es wird kein Geld investiert, es riecht verstaubt. Schade

The location is absolutely stunning. Literally right on the beautiful beach. This in itself deserves 5 stars. However the lodge is older and one can feel it’s getting on in years. The sofas in our room were sagging and had stains - just felt icky. The bathroom was also old. It looks like they tried to modernise it with a grey coat of paint, but it still looks tired. There wasn’t one hook in our bathroom for any towels and we couldn’t even hang up the hand towel. Apparently there are some rooms that have been upgraded. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice, but once again the dining room felt a bit old and tired and grubby.

Very disappointing. Needs major repairs.
Unfortunately the room was in a very poor state of repair. Lots of water damage and stains. Black mould in various areas, damaged furniture and torn lampshades. Toilet was hanging off the wall. No toilet/bathroom door so no privacy if you went to the loo. No shower door and rain shower hanging off the wall, which completely flooded the bathroom and bedroom when you used it. Photo’s of bathroom on website are for a completely different room. The photo they are using on site has bed across a set of panelled wardrobe doors, the central two doors, which previously disguised the entrance to bathroom are now completely missing. The photo completely gives the wrong (and better) impression of the room. We arrived very late and too late to complain and in the end we decided just to put up with it. Really really disappointed. Staff were friendly enough, beach location is amazing but the Seagull room we were in needed gutting for sure.

Die Lage ist phantastisch. Besser geht es nicht. Aber dennoch ist vieles sehr veraltet. Wir hatten ein Maisonette Zimmer mit toller Terrasse. Aber hier wäre eine Renovierung dringend nötig. Einige Zimmer sind aber wohl saniert. Das Frühstück ist nix besonderes, eher lieblos und einfach. Für eine Nacht auf der Garden Route ok.

Stayed in the Neptune room which was spacious with a large comfy bed. All facilities needed including a dining table and kitchenette Beautiful location, well maintained garden and private access to the beach. Well located for a stroll along the beach
