The hotel is very Irish and the surrounding scenery is very good. Opposite the hotel is a golf course, and there is a bar on the first floor. Watching the ball is very atmospheric, and there are locals who will play guitar and sing. The service and breakfast are very good, and the facilities are well maintained~

We stayed for one night and played golf. Historic and attractive hotel in a good location with pleasant views of the river valley. Staff, low number, attentive and pleasant. Delay at check in due to golf groups queuing. Evening menu limited but food good. Lasagne, sausages, fish all tasted good. Breakfast excellent. Our accommodation was in a block across the busy road. Quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, a smell of tobacco and room not heated on arrival. Room and en-suite simply decorated. Golf course and clubhouse well worth a visit. Hopefully the next owners of the hotel will keep the same golf/ accommodation offers going. A stay is recommended.

Your request for me to fill in this review as it were was most interesting to do. Recently I stayed in a well known Hotel in London where I have stayed for many years and sadly it has dis improved in many ways. It lacked the ambience it used to have and it is something you must never loose. Well Done

I love Woodenbridge Hotel. All the staff are helpful and always smiling no mater how busy they are .Services is great ,Views are great .Cleanliness is great .I can't fault it .I would pick this Hotel to stay over any were else in the world .So thank you to all the staff .

A great weekend. We had a great stay in the lodge and no hassle in any regard. The staff were all so friendly and although busy they always had time to attend questions or help in any way we asked.

The service was most courteous and efficient. The breakfast was superb while the dinner, the lamb in particular, was totally delicious. The hotel is within walking distance of one of the finest parkland golf courses in the country. There is extremely pretty scenery to be encountered while driving westwards from the hotel.
