Baymont by Wyndham Whitewater

Clean. Bed wasn’t bad, little soft Certainly worth the money There wasn’t anything wrong with our stay at all except that the breakfast ends far too early.

The first thing I would like to point out is the customer service of the front desk was by far some of the best my family and I have ever experienced. They accommodated our early check-in, they made alternative arrangements since the pool was closed and even offered suggestions around white water for things to do. Upon entering, it’s clear, even though the hotel as well maintained it is in desperate need of renovation. When I booked the hotel for my family, I had no idea a double bed was not double queen beds. The halls reek of Indian spices. When walking by a few of the rooms on the first floor, it smelled like an Indian restaurant was cooking food for the entire hotel. The rooms, although clean were definitely outdated and had the wonderful musty smell of past guests. In my personal opinion, housekeeping needed to pay closer detail to wiping the bathroom walls, the room walls as well as the hallway walls. Overall, our stay was not awful, but I would only recommend the hotel for a one night budget stay.

This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It smelled like mold and pee. Stains all over the walls and furniture, ripped shower curtain, I could go on. They charge your card before you even check in. Now I know why.

The room had a strong musty odor. We have had very nice breakfasts at other Wyndham hotels. This breakfast was very minimal and disappointing. In addition, I needed to contact my bank to dispute extra charges.

Room was nice. It was a two star hotel. I have paid less for a three and four star hotel rooms. Outside was very nice. Inside was nice area. Breakfast was included. Hotel was one of the newer in this small community.

My daughter was looking for a channel guide in the drawers. While looking in the dresser she found an open and unopened white claws and an almost full rum bottle in the dresser. We honestly didn’t even bother saying anything because we found it late the night we were checking out early the next morning.

We found large bed bugs under two queen beds. Management did not compensate for the cleanliness. We were told we could leave or they could find another room or us. It was late and there was limited options for hotels so we had to stay.

This place is highly underrated. I read all the reviews before choosing and overall decided here anyway as it had a hot tub! I was not disappointed. The room was impeccable upon arrival. Zero smoke smell in my room and everything was cleaned extremely well. The beds were comfy and the pool and hot tub area was fantastic! The only negative thing I can say about this place is the carpet was a little date but it didn’t bother me at all ! The staff both at check in and check out was very friendly and personable. I’m starting to think some of these people reviewing this place had some pretty high standards. My girlfriends and I would certainly stay here again.

This is a nice, clean local hotel. It's quite reasonable for the location especially during the week. Very close to campus. Front staff is very friendly, and are happy to give recommendations to local places to eat (quite a few excellent choices).
