Great stay food amazing staff Okay We came for the weekend for turkey and tinsel If was fabulous would recommend it the evening entertainment was okay rooms need a bit of a revamp and does the lift I would go back tho next year Christmas nice view of the pair

With coach party staying for four nights, Everything about the hotel was excellent. The room, food, entertainment. Everyone very friendly. Special mention about Tina in the dining room, she was brilliant!!!.Would definitely stay there again...

The location of the hotel is excellent. Very short distance to the seafront and Grove park areas of town. The room was nice for an over night stay. Unfortunately the towel rail in the bathroom was hanging out the wall. There was a pillow case missing off the bed. The mattress is definitely on its last legs. We'd stay again but only for one night. The staff we met were all extremely helpful, the hotel has a lovely bar and balcony area with views over the bay towards the pier.

Mattress felt it was 30 years old shower was tiny and no power will no stay there again. It felt outdated everywhere

Wasn't going to review this hotel for our one night stay because the beer at the bar and room were only OK, but then I had the breakfast! It was definitely five star, with poached eggs ready and waiting, great bacon and a super black pudding . . . .

I had arranged to go for a few days away with my Brother and his girlfriend, this would not have been the type of hotel I would usually have chosen but I'm glad we did, I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived probably a couple of hours early and only went in the hotel to advise them of my car registration. Nicola was looking after reception and was happy to check me in. I had prebooked car parking but as the hotel was low occupancy parking wasn't an issue and there was no charge. Unfortunately due to the low occupancy there was no breakfast available, however this didn't cause me any problem as a minute walk away is a perfectly acceptable alternative, and I was given a refund which more than covered my expenditure. I had a double ensuite room with balcony and sea view all furnishings and fabrics were good quality and well maintained. There was a bar that was very handy for a first and last drink and I understand they have live entertainment at busier times of the year. All the staff I had dealings with, predominantly Nicola, were helpful and polite and I would have no hesitation recommending the Royal Grosvenor Hotel.
