The rooms are almost identical as the real Hilton down town I’m not sure what that says about Hilton but this place was only 80 something dollars. The walls are just as thin at the Hilton that is 200 dollars a night. The only difference is that there isn’t a bar where you can take a 25 dollar bottle of wine to your room for 100 dollars. This place is completely adequate. I think the people with the negative reviews don’t have much experience in hotels. I’m in a hotel at least 90 nights a year. The Hilton brand is so good in Utah. I have stayed in the one on foothill like another person was mentioning how much better it was and the only difference is a a little shop where you can buy a Kirkland bottle of water for 4 dollars. When I want to stay somewhere like the people complaining we’re expecting for literally 60 dollars more you can stay at a Hyatt brand and in my experience it’s worth it if you don’t want to collect the extra money from your tdy allowance. You spend 90 dollars for a room and expect a luxurious experience I just find it humorous. Eat your waffle, yes the walls are thin, sleep in what you paid for because it’s not bad and stop trying to give a crappy review. My room as always been clean, the staff as always been friendly, I have never had my meds stolen like at the Marriott whose housekeepers have access to the safe in the room. You are in a bargain hotel if you want a completely silent room go to to the Hyatt regency and you will get what apparently you expect of all hotels. Other wise stop trying to ruin a business. Also if you have a daughter in a wheelchair in a sensitive medical condition spring for the extra 40 bucks. Again this place is fine comfortably and meets all my needs plus there is hbo. The one and only issue I have had is they ran out of towels so I can’t take my nightly sorry and they need to switch to a k cup coffee maker.

Our family of four (2 teens) stayed here 6 nights. Having a separate bedroom, suite style, made all the difference for us so we didn’t all have to go to bed at the same time for a full week. There was plenty of space for us to store our bags, but a luggage rack would have been helpful. A few more things that would have helped: more hangers in the closet, some hooks by the front door for jackets (had to go thru bedroom for closet), and a couple of “purse hooks” under the entryway shelf, a couple more towel hooks in the bath behind the door, and a hook or bar for a kitchen towel by the sink. Also, some usb charging ports are pretty much standard these days, and in our room could only be found on the bedroom clock. An additional comfortable chair in the tv space would be nice to fit a 4th person. We had to use the desk chair, not so great. The beds, blankets and pillows were very comfortable, and the room dark for sleep. We didn’t hear much outside noise, but the a/c-heat system had a loud hum and strong breeze. We found that even in winter we needed to keep it on a/c or the space would heat up overnight to the mid-70’s and become stuffy. The kitchen was quirky and pots for cooking were insufficient. I only cooked once. There was no pan for making eggs, just steep-sided sauté pots, but breakfast had eggs every day. I made my own one day when the eggs had cheese in them that I couldn’t eat. I washed everything by hand until the last day because with 4 people and 4 each glasses, mugs, plates, we ran out quickly. Breakfast was fantastic, with hot options and something for everyone, including bagels and pastries, bacon or sausage, waffle iron, oatmeal with toppings, fruit, snack bars, yogurt with additional toppings, sliced cheeses (even Brie!), cereal (mostly sugary varieties), I do appreciate the Udi’s gluten-free bagels every morning, and hand cut fresh fruit. I am celiac and never got sick from the food. It was a nice start to our day for skiing. The hot tub was a great apres-ski, with the pool for cooling off. The hot tub itself was large enough for two Mamini es and plenty hot. Towels were sp**** and there never seemed to be any clean ones when we would go so we’d have to go to the desk to ask, a bit inconvenient walking around in a swimsuit. Our room was on the second floor a few doors from the entry, which was really convenient for us. We still had a nice view of the mountains. The rooms were generally quite clean, but our bathroom needed a deep clean. The metal trim was grimy and the wallpaper was coated in a layer of dust. Everything else was adequately clean but I noticed this right away and it really bugged me. However, it was not enough to reduce my rating. The hotel layout was logical and easy to navigate. Location was good, close to restaurants and Costco, 40-45 minutes from Snowbird/Alta, easy access to the freeway system, friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay! Will likely return.

First time on this location and good choice to stay again. Hotel is well located, near about 5 or 7 different restaurants from Indian to Mexican cuisine. Even though the hotel is near a highway, the room I stayed in was super quiet. Oh Public transportation is also near the hotel, that is something I love about Salt Lake City. As any other Staybridge, plenty of space, nice and comfy bed, pretty decent breakfast options. Haven't used the gym or pool this time.

Breakfast from 5 to 9 o'clock, dinner from 5 to 7 o'clock. Breakfast and dinner are free and varied. The room is a suite, large and spacious. I didn't have any change in the previous two days. I forgot to give a tip. After I went back and forth, I just got to be disturbed. I gave $10 in consumption. Later, when I left in the morning, I put $1 in bed. Slippers, your own toothpaste toothbrush needs to bring your own. There is a car to the airport every 15 minutes, the distance is 20 minutes. The shuttle is scheduled to go to the airport at 4:15 in the morning. When the person arrives at the lobby, the front desk will call the car. It is Uber. It takes 5 minutes to pay for the hotel. By the way, the hotel's parking is free. The nearby residential area is awesome. If you come to Salt Lake City next time, you will choose here.

The hardest thing to do in the service industry is taking what works well and executing that service level reliably with every guest every day through staff and management changes, creating an expectation for your guests. This hotel not only understands this premise, but delivers. After a three year break in my SLC travels, I found myself back at this property. Every time I stay, I appreciate how clean and fresh the property looks. The lobby and rooms always look like they were just renovated (given my travel frequency to this hotel over prior years, renovating multiple times per year is unlikely). But they clearly take care of their property and do maintenance regularly so they don't have to wait for a major renovation. This approach avoids the tired rooms other hotels can offer about a year before such overhaul projects. The front desk team members are always polite and service oriented. ”How can I ... ?” is their mindset. Their restaurant team is very helpful, particularly if you need food to go for your day's travels. Excellent breakfast service with both a generous buffet and hot menu options made fresh. All this from a AAA three Diamond property. There are many other three and four Diamond properties that can learn from the management team here. That's a well earned compliment. Keep up the great work.

CCarolhuffHad a great stay, the place is very clean, the beds are very comfortable. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Will definitely book here again. Thanks for a great experience.
GGuest UserThe whole is relatively clean, the breakfast is good, but there are two styles. If you live for a long time, it is recommended to consider breakfast zero hour replacement. If there are children, the pool is good.
GGuest UserI cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We were to be departing Salt Lake City and my mother fell and broke her hip at the airport. The hospital recommended this hotel to us because it was close to the hospital and they gave a medical discount. The staff was so accommodating and helpful and it was 2 miles from the hospital my mother was in. The breakfast was great and room was so nice and spacious for me and my father or sister whichever one if us that wasn’t staying at the hospital with mom. It was much nicer than another hotel that we had stayed at in Salt Lake City Earlier. I highly recommend this to anyone staying in Salt Lake City for any reason.
Property is located within walking distance from the TRAX train station. The outside was clean and hotel is easy to get to . The room was very roomy and clean with a big bathroom. Bed and pillows provided a great night of sleep. The real reason for my rating is the customer service which was outstanding. I was checked in by Madeleine who was very courteous and professional. She has a wonderful personality and answered all my questions. She recognized my Hilton Honors status and invited me to the hotel’s parent company’s birthday celebration they were having at the hotel. Just a joy to be greeted by her. I found that the shuttle bus drivers were equally helpful and friendly. Even though the property is a little dated, it was the customer service that really stood out and made my stay enjoyable…especially the friendly smile from Madeleine. Would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserWe came here for a staycation. Very excited to experience the pool. The rooms were very nice. However, I was disappointed with the Pool area. It looks like the hotels that manage it gave up on the maintenance and are letting it go to waste. Breakfast was fine. They do need a larger area. We didn’t know where to sit down or set our food down. We ended up back at our room to finish eating. The service was fine. Everyone else was able to check in but we had to wait 40+ to get our room although we had been there first. If you’re coming for the pool… save yourself money and go somewhere nicer.
SSteven Unexpected amenities, thoroughly satisfied with the accommodation my first time at this chain, it’s not like an apartment is it like a all suite Hotel. Everything was great with the stain. How do I known it is Vance everything that I had I would’ve stopped at the grocery store and bought some food first and they take dogs which was a really big plus for me you got your moneys worth I’d recommend staying here Location is right in the middle of it all.
GGuest UserWe are Radisson Reward members and stay at Country Inns often when traveling. Price was reasonable using reward points but this was probably the most disappointing CI property we have stayed in. Room (216) needed maintenance especially in bathroom. Sink and tub faucet handles didn't work well. Metal wall towel rack was coming out of the wall. Toilet seat was not attached properly. When showering the tub floor creaked and felt ”spongy.” Wallpaper peeling away from wall. One of the queen mattresses had a noticeable dip in it. The location itself was good. Easy drive into SLC and to airport and many eating choices nearby.
GGuest UserThis location is lacking in hospitality, service and professionalism. Homeless sleep in parking lot, Noise stopped at 2:20 AM, started again at 4:11 AM. Dog hair and flea dirt on white fitted sheet, snickers bar very old and peanuts grey, no microwave, Owner/manager wants cash over credit card, he is more concerned about making money, rather than quality customer service and care. Check it over before you stay here.Happy Travels everyone.
Really enjoyed my stay at this location, check in was very quick and informative. Entire Staff was very friendly and professional definitely would love to give Kudos to Cora, Steve, and (the other Night Auditor/Night Laundry Attendant I didn't get her name) for making my trip an absolute pleasant one and going above and beyond to assure we had a comfortable stay. Thank you guys so much!
GGuest UserThis was literally the WORST place I've ever stayed! If you like the stench of old diapers and a homeless soup kitchen that hasn't been cleaned since opening day 1924! Every hallway from 1st to 4th floor smells the exact same way! Garbage throughout every floor, cans and wrappers and just plain garbage all over the parking lot and tweakers knocking at random doors at all hours of the night scaring the hell out of you when the door ends up being yours that night because the key cards don't keep people out the doors are always propped open and left for any homeless person to walk in and do who knows what to you or your families. The main manager Michelle Robison or the, ”GM” as she likes to call herself is a thief! Maybe she will read this and she will know exactly what the #@$% I'm talking about. I hope you took that 100 bucks and if you split it with your little one time a week worker Jen didn't spend it all in one place. You know what you did. You must think people are stupid. Why else would you not allow Myself or my GF go into room 406 to retrieve that money to give back to the person who lost their wallet? It's because you knew it was no longer in there and then you wanna bad mouth me behind my back to my GF telling her we thought it was just okay to rip other people off. The nerve of your ugly mouth! You had pocketed that money and you didn't even give it back to the guest who lost it and just thought you'd pin it on me. We all know the truth and you and your choice of workers cannot be trusted. The only one who can and should be trusted is Carrie and she should have your job but I'm sure doesn't want it. Oh and buy a hair brush and actually look professional at work once in a while would ya!! Mowt unprofessional looking atmosphere you will ever see. She also allows her little friend employees to get away with whatever they want and none of them do any actual work. Housekeeping does the WORST job, leaving disgusting trails of who knows what after other tenants have stayed in a room. We had to spend 3 days cleaning when we first got there just to get it close to the standards of cleanliness liveable for us.i wouldn't recommend this place to a rather. Again I repeat, the GM as she likes to call herself is a thief and they **** people outta there that they don't like but they keep all the drug addicts so they can get their fix on and off their shifts. I doubt any of the important people ever see this anyways. So again, DO NOT stay at this Hotel!! Do and you shall see yourself that you and anybody decent you bring with you will absolutely HATE it!!! I hope you all take my advice. Do not waste your money! Don't do it!! This is my review and if you would like to take it upon yourself to be disgusted be my... wait I mean their... guest....
