Once again Seamill Hydro o delivered. You can’t beat a room with that view even on a miserable day. If the weather prevents a walk on the beach, then it’s an easy excuse to relax over a few drinks in the Orangery bar/restaurant.

A very nice hotel located on the coast at Seamill. My room was nice but not sure it was worth the £148 that I paid for one night B&B. The breakfast was very nice as was the lunch I had in 'The Orangery' restaurant. The hotel is located on the beach which was lovely, a shame that the weather didn't allow a morning walk on the beach. My only complaint is that I requested a wake-up call in the morning and I didn't get one. Which resulted in me running late!! A big car park is available with ample spaces.

Loved everything about Seamill Hydro. It was my first time staying and I’ll definitely return. Strongly recommend a room in the hotel with a sea view. Staff are friendly and helpful. Orangery Restaurant was good (need to book, as very popular). Good leisure facilities and grounds behind the hotel with direct access to the beach. Beautiful hotel.

Took my mum for her birthday. As usual a fantastic visit. We had the best time which was made even more special with the amazing staff. Denise, Kelly and Narinder are very special people made it so much fun and sang happy birthday to mum two days in a row remembering us taking the time to make sure we were okay. They are a credit to Seamill Hydro as are all the staff worth a visit!

Stayed a couple of nights for a family wedding. Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Had a lunch in the bar which was lovely. Dinner in the Orangery was excellent too. Fab breakfasts too. Room was lovely although wished I’d upgraded to a sea view. Definitely a hotel to be recommended

Booked a stay with my daughter as a birthday present. We had a couple of treatments in the spa which were ok but probably not worth the £70 price. The pool area is ok but the changing facilities were too small for the amount of people that were there. The pool itself was quite cool which was a surprise as we were expecting it to be warm in a hotel spa. The sauna and steam room were good. Our room was a family room and it was clean but dated with broken furniture and no way of controlling the heating. The double bed was very small with a hard mattress and small hard pillows - again not what we were expecting and therefore we did not sleep well. We’ve had better sleeps in Premier Inn. The food and service in the Orangey was excellent and the cocktails were fantastic. Breakfast in the Aura was disappointing, it was extremely busy and they needed more staff. The coffee machine served up lukewarm coffee and the Scottish breakfast was average. The smoked salmon on eggs was nice. On the whole it’s a nice hotel that needs updating and it overcharges for some of its rooms. We probably won’t be back due to the hard bed and lack of sleep.

The hotel room was excellent and the staff were friendly and professional. The overall decor was excellent but the Aura needs updating. The wedding venue is excellent but for me the dance floor is too strange a shape and too small for a large gathering.

Honest Review Last minute overnight with myself and two teen boys Hotel man areas and staff all lovely 1 bedroom family room in courtyard very outdated Orange and brown wood colour scheme, TV tuned and locked to channels 1 to 5 and a few kids channels Even though a basic smart TV no apps installed asked at reception but TVs locked down Mattrsses ok; furniture chipped, carpets stained, no plug sockets next to beds, they had actually have been off. Toiletries nice. Swimming fab would probably go back for this alone ( if he couod get a deal/ offer) Ate in the bar, not convinced it was great; it was ok but for the price would try local restaurants in future Breakfast again ok, continental okish, cooked breakfast the same it is included in the price so it is what it is In short,nice enough not as nice as it's payday Needs a good bit of renovation work Oh and woman in gift shop very friendly.
